ATI Radeon HD 6950/6970

Netko je pitao čemu 2 GB memorije na ovim grafama, odnosno, zaključio da je samo za qrchenje i privlačenje ljudi koji padaju na velike brojeve.

Čini se da ipak nije tako.

Pa normalne da treba flashati ovu grafu kad je samo softverski zakljucana, a uvijek se lako sa prvim prekidacem vrati u 6950 .

Evo flashana upravo u 6970
Proces traje 10 sekundi + reboot.
Taktovi su odmah poslije reboota defaultni od 6970 - 880 i 1375MHz, 1536 shadera uz propusnost 176GB/s.
Temperature su 1-2° veće nego dok je bila 'obična' 6950, ali 'sređivanjem' profila u afterburneru sada je max 69° uz vent na 50% pri full loadu, buka je skroz podnošljiva, u odnosu na defaultnih 36% i 82-83°.
Šta reći nego, savršeno.

Evo probao sam flashat XFX 6950 u 6970 preko atiwinflash-a javlja mi SubsystemID s mismatch (probao više biosa), također sam probao http://forums.techpowerup.com/showpo...6&postcount=19
javlja isto.Jel imao još tko sličan problem?

Imao sam ja, nakon toga sam pokrenuo onaj bin file i sve bilo ok.

If you get an error like ID mismatch or Could not erase ROM, then you'll have to do some extra work in a Windows command prompt (or DOS): Run atiwinflash -unlockrom 0 followed by atiwinflash -f -p 0 bios.bin where bios.bin is the path and filename of the HD 6970 BIOS you downloaded.

HIS used its own design PCB that's shorter in length, and uses cost-effective VRM since the card isn't dealing with high-density 2 Gbit GDDR5 memory chips anymore. It uses a GPU fan-heatsink that uses a large fan to ventilate an aluminum fin array that cools the GPU and other components. the cooler is covered by a well-ventilated shroud.

That and the memory aside, other specifications are the same: the 40 nm Cayman GPU features 1408 VLIW4 stream processors, and connects to 1 GB of GDDR5 memory over a 256-bit wide memory interface. The core is clocked at 800 MHz, and the memory at 1250 MHz (5.00 GHz GDDR5 effective). HIS did not release pricing yet, but it will be well below the $300 mark.

Stvarno je taj twinfrozr strašan hladnjak, razlike u temperaturi su odlične, mada se i sa stock coolerom da poigrati fino u afterburneru da ne bude bučan a da budu rezultati vrlo dobri, ja sam zadovoljan skroz, još kad se uzme o obzir činjenica da je sve unlockano na 6970 i taktovi i shaderi, dobar je i stock cooler, jer nije nešto puno glasniji od tf-a kad se namjesti ručno na neke velike okretaje, recimo na 80% sam probao ovoga moga i 6870 sa tf, to je skroz tu negdje po generiranoj buci....

Pozdrav razmišljam o kupnji za sad jedne 6950 po nekih 2500kn,trenutno imam u mašini dvije gainward 4850, pa ako netko zna koliko je ta kartica jača u dx10 naslovima od prijašnje dvije i koliko je duža (hoće li uopće stati)?
