NEznam, ako i bude tako, brzo će se promjeniti, ne vjerujem da IW želi riskirati sa tolikim gubicima.

No opet, njihova igra, njihova pravila, mogu kako hoće, milijuni ljudi su zagrizli za COD i sad ne puštaju.
Ja ću ga kupiti, kakav bio da bio, makar će biti ogromni minus takva pravila igre.

Ja se samo nadam da ce ipak to ispraviti, jer zaista je sramota da on jedne ikone kao sto je "Call of Duty" naprave takvo sranje, da je to samo za Bogu plakati. Neznam, ali meni je to jos uvijek smijesno, mislim, nemogu shvatiti sta je njima trebalo da to idu raditi?
Pa i COD4 je bio/bila jedna od najprodavanijih igara, i zasto se jednostavno nije mogao i dalje koristiti taj konj, koji 100% nebi ni ovdje gubio trku sa nikim, nego bi vrlo vjerojatno i dalje postavljao nove standardne, a one stare itekako dobro zadrzavao. A ovako, jebiga, imamo ponija kojeg ce jasiti samo konzolasi

Prvo treba znati da ljudi u ATVIju/IWu smatraju PC usere nerdovima koji nemaju pojma o ničemu - ako si konzolaš - sve pet...... - molim ljepo ovo nije uvreda ljudima koji igraju na kozolama nego činjenica.


1. kupiš igru - ovo nije nikakav problem
2. odigraš SP za koji će ti trebati između 6 do 10 sati -
3. sada želiš odigrati MP na pabu kak veliš - e pa nema više pubova tu je IW.NET kod kojeg neko hosta igru na svom kompu - lag ping
Pitanje je uopče koliko igrača može igrat.
4. ajde sve si to progutao - i hočeš igrat sa frendovima - E NE MOŽE - ako nemju isti nivo/level
5. ako imaju isti level kao ti treba kristalna kugla i čarobne moči da se uspijete nači na istom serveru/komp hostu.
6.ako si i ovo progutao (ovo je več sado-mazo) htio bi igrati na nekom serveru koji recimo nema neke perkove - E NE MOŽE - takvih nema.
7. nedaj bože da pomisliš o nekom klanu ili klanskim borbama - E NE MOŽE.
8. (teški sado-mazo) ako si sve ovo progutao i još se boriš sa vjetrenjačama - sad poželiš neku custom mapu- NEMA VIŠE!
9. (............) možda neki mod - NEMA VIŠE!
10 (............) izlazi map pack sa par novih mapa - NEMA DOWNLOADA AKO NE PLATIŠ - KUIŠ PARALELU SA KONZOLAMA...
11. (...........) izlazi patch - E PA NEMA DOWNLOADA AKO NE PLATIŠ....

EDIT: skoro zaboravio - skill više ne igra nikakvu ulogu - znači ako zalutaš na server gdje bauljaju ljudi koji ne kuže ni cilj igre (gametype) - BAD LUCK!
15. ALI NA KRAJU DANA SVE SKUPO PLAČAŠ DA BI PROLAZIO OVAKVU TORTURU!

Još samo da dodam - intencija ATVIja je da ubuduće PC verzije budu pod njihovom kontrolom. Kao igre za konzole. Kuiš
Ja se nadam da neče svi developeri u svijetu slijediti ovaj primjer je će PC igranje umrijeti kao takvo.

Da nebi bio nepošten - evo što FourZeroTwo kaže danas (IW PR):

I recently broke news on a PC community member’s podcast that Modern Warfare 2 would be introducing a completely new backend infastructure called IWNET that would allow matchmaking for multiplayer games on PC. The news, by default, means no more browsing through a Server List for a server with the settings / ping you want among other things, and sent shockwaves through the hardcore PC community, leading to many more questions than answers as to ‘HOW’ this would work, and if it would really be better for the PC community as a whole.

Questions, assumptions, and speculation I intend to dispel.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is actually the biggest investment Infinity Ward has ever made into the PC version of our games. It’s also the most feature-rich PC version we’ve ever made. IWNET takes the benefits of dedicated servers and allows them to be utilized and accessed by every player, out of the box, while removing the barrier to entry for players unaware of how to maintain a server on their own.
How does it do this?

Matchmaking & Smoother Gameplay: When you want to player a multiplayer game on PC, in the past. You’d have to scroll through a Server Browser which listed every available server which was hosted by individual server admins. Each had their own private rules, mods, or ways of playing the game. Most players would also use the server browser to find just the best quality game (based on PING). With IWNET matchmaking, it takes all that into account for you. All you have to do is select the playlist (pre-set gametypes with custom rules) that fits the style of play you are in the mood for. When you do, it will automatically find you a game with the best performance, ping, and preferences based on your location and individual connection as well as matching you with players of your same SKILL. So you’re always guaranteed the best game performance for where you are and what connection you’re playing on as well as an equal game with other players of your same skill level, not rank, but skill level. It doesn’t mean you’ll just be thrown into a random game! It will put you in the game that will give you the smoothest gameplay possible without you having to manually find a server with the best ping.

Playlists and Private Matches: As I described above, Playlists are pre-set game modes and gametypes for public games. If you just want to jump into a public game of Search and Destroy or Hardcore Search and Destroy and you don’t care about fully customizing it, then you can utilize playlists to do that quickly for you. However, say you’re in a clan and you want to play a Clan match with another team, or you want to practice for an upcoming tournament that has specific rules in a private game. Then you can start a Private Match (which is essentially like running your own private server) where you have complete control over the rules, who can join, boot players you don’t want, and essentially control the entire game or tweak it to your liking. Once the rules are set, you can invite the other team in or just start it up with your clan to practice with the custom rules before the match. This now allows you to play custom games out of the box without the need to install mods, find a modded server with the rules you like, or worry about not being in control of the match.

Party System and Friendslist: Modern Warfare 2 on PC also makes it much easier if you want to party up with your friends, or again, with your clan for a match. You can utilize the friendslist to see when your friends are online, and invite them to your Party. A Party allows you to move from game to game as a group. It’s great for clan matches, because you can party of with your clan and move from public game to public game together. Or if you’re doing a scrim, party up and invite the other clan (who is in a party) and they’ll all join at once. Set up a private match together and play. It makes setting up scrims or games with friends easier and hassle free.

Cheat / Hack Free Games: The biggest benefit of using IWnet by far is the fact that you don’t have to worry about joining a server full of aim-bots, wallhacks, or cheaters. Or relying on the server admin of the server to constantly be monitoring, banning, and policing it. Modern Warfare 2 on PC allows us to control the quality of the game much more than ever before as well as utilizing the VAC (Valve-Anti-Cheat) system to keep games clean of hackers and cheaters.
All in all, IWNET adds a load of new features that the PC version of our games have never had before and allows us an infrastructure to continue to update and improve on the game post-launch.

@Apacer ft Bozja - igra je gotova i ako se več ne prži onda uskoro bude - to znači da bi im trebalo 5 do 6 mjeseci da promjene kod i uvedu izmjene - treba to i istestirati.............

Samo to je dovoljno da ubije PC igranje u budučnosti.

Nema šanse da dam svoj teško zarađeni novac za takvo nešto.

Pretpostavljam da se nece moci ni organizirat LAN-party-i na kojima ce se lokalno igrat... Jos jedan ogroman minus... IW sucks

Ne bi se baš ni naigrao MWI da nije bilo modova (pogotovo HC mod) i dodatnih mapa.
SP je samo onako da uhvatiš atmosferu igre a MP je ono pravo, igraš sa kime i kako želiš. Bez toga nema tu dobre i duge zabave.

Ja sam stvarno bio zagrijan za tu igru. Naručio original, nadogradio komp (ne puno, ali osjeti se pomak) i sad oni to naprave. Kao što sam već naveo iznad, narudžbu sam otkazao, sad mi samo preostaje čekat razočaranje godine.

Kako mi je sad drago sto sam prestao sa svojom "cod karijerom" i cekao mw2 samo da predjem sp ;D

Iako neplaniram niti pogledati igru, vec mi se sa cetvorkom zgadila (nekako brijem da ce Battlefield biti veci gust) moram se osvrnuti na ovo, nema dedicated servera, pa evo ja vec dosta dugo imam PS3 prakticki niti jedna igra online naravno nema dedicated servere no ovaj matchmaking funkcionira iznimno dobro, neznam jesam li ikada primjecivao probleme sa lagom, a bilo je i engleza i francuza i spanjolaca itd, takoder ako zelite igrati sa kompicima nebudite smjesni sa ovim pricama da ako se hoces nac sa frendovima na serveru da treba kristalna kugla BS, bit ce nesto a.k.a. party sistem, ocete igrati nadete se prije nego sto nadete serverei to je to...

Druga strana je naravno taj DLC, koji ekipa puse na konzolama neizmjerno (hebiga ipak je idiot proof ) pa zasto nebi lijepo zaradili jos vise para, jer je do sada lijepo bilo sve na patchu i bok...

Da se dotaknem i chitera, da ih nece biti to nije istina ali vjerujem bar 70% manje ce ih bit, kome ce se uostalome dati staviti aimbot uletit na server pobit par desetaka ljudi pa ti banaju acc mos se pozdravit da bus sa tim ID-om ili keyem uletio na online znaci nanovo kupit igru, mislim da bu brzo odustali ...
Dok mislim da svi znaju kak to sad funkcionira, lik moze cijeli dan brijati sa aimbotom pa i ako ga PB nade sam promjeni server

I nekako mislim da to nema veze sa IW vise sa Activisionom...

Infinity Ward Responds To MW 2 PC Petition


'Edge Online has an ultra-short quote (via Twitter) from Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling, stating only that they are aware of the online petition to bring dedicated servers back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

fourzerotwo: Definitely made a big wave, and the response will not be ignored. I'll ensure everyone at IW sees the petitions and responses to it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 10. Expect to hear more on the game and its integrated Steam functionality before then.'
