Cooler Master Intros Hyper 612S CPU Cooler

Citiraj:
Cooler Master rolled out its newest performance CPU cooler, the Hyper 612S. It is a large tower-type heatsink that is designed to maximize heat dissipation at lower fan speeds. It does so with a different orientation of copper heat pipes. The heat pipes pass through the base, and along the length of the aluminum fin stack, rather than its breadth. As a result heat is dissipated more uniformly along the air column. The fins are designed to curve air path, to improve heat dissipation. Ventilation is care of a 120 mm fan, although there's provision for dual fan "push-pull" set up.

The cooler measures 140x128x163 mm, weighing 806 g. The bundled 120 mm fan has a top speed of 1300 RPM ±10% pushing 52.6 CFM of air, and uses a 3-pin fan connector. A "Silent mode adapter" (intermediate resistor) slows it down to 900 RPM, reducing its air flow to 36.4 CFM. Between full speed and silent modes, the rated noise levels vary between 22.5 and 16.1 dBA. The Hyper 612S supports all current CPU socket types, including Intel LGA1366/1156/1155/775, and AMD Socket AM3/AM2+/AM2. Available in the markets by S
eptember, the Hyper 612S is expected to be priced around 45 Euros.

Cooler Master Unveils GeminII S524: Ultimate Versatility Realized

Citiraj:
Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer, uncovers the ultimate follow-up to the widely popular GeminII CPU Cooler, the GeminII S524. The GeminII S524 is the embodiment of versatility, efficiency, and silence.

GeminII S524, a unique alternative to traditional CPU & system memory cooling. Rotated 90 degrees, it harnesses the constant flow of cool air from the side of the system and directs it to the heatsink fins to cool the CPU. Unique to this design, the GeminII S524 channels a portion of this cool air to the system memory to help dissipate the heat generated by critical system components. Benefiting from a larger heatsink surface area, increased clearance for high-end system memory modules, and an easily upgradeable fan, the GeminII S524 claims its position as a transformative cooling solution while maintaining an impressive performance-to-noise ratio.

Electroplated Copper Base and 140mm Fan Support
GeminII S524 is an evolutionary new step in CPU cooling. It features a total of five high-grade 6mm thick copper heat pipes that emerge from a large copper base that, combined, offer optimal heat conduction; quickly spreading and removing heat generated by the CPU. To prevent corrosion of its copper surfaces without impacting its heat conductivity, the GeminII S524 base and all heat pipes have been electroplated with a microscopic layer of nickel. The increased surface area of the heatsink and revised fin design of GeminII S524 not only improve its cooling performance but allow for the installation of a 140mm fan, making it a highly flexible cooling solution suitable for any computing environment.

The GeminII S524 will be available worldwide in August 16th, 2011 for $39.99 MSRP at retail and online locations that carry your favorite Cooler Master, CM Storm, and Choiix products.

Phanteks PH-TC14PE_RD

Citiraj:
With summer almost behind us as always we will see many new products introduced into the market from just about every company in the world in order to make it in time for the Christmas shopping spree we are all used to. What is really rare however is to see new companies emerge just after the summer period and today on our test bench we have a product by one such company called Phanteks. The product in hand is called the PH-TC14PE and as you can see from the above image it's a very large sandwich type CPU Cooler.

MSI Develops Dust Removal Technology for Graphics Cards

Citiraj:
Off late, MSI has been at the forefront of graphics card innovations. The latest is what the company refers to as "Dust Removal Technology". Dust buildup on the surface of heatsink fins can reduce cooling efficiency. Without giving us too many details about its testing, MSI claims that a
clean cooler can keep temperatures down by as much as 15°C. Dust Removal Technology uses a simple method of running fans in the opposite rotation, drawing air from the heatsink and pushing it out through its intakes, with 100% fan speed for 30 seconds at system startup can work to reduce dust accumulation in the tough to clean parts of the cooler. Since the "dust removal" happens on each system startup, cleaning happens on a very regular basis. MSI plans to implement the Dust Removal Technology on all its new and upcoming graphics cards.

Dobro da su se sjetili, taj sistem se na nekim drugim stvarima/sistemima koristi valjda otkad postoje ventovi koji su pokretani elektromotorom.

Alpenfohn Unveils Himalaya High-End CPU Heatsink

Citiraj:
Alpenfohn unveiled its latest high-end CPU cooler, the Himalaya. Decked entirely in aluminum and nickel-plated copper, the Himalaya is a large tower-type cooler, with added innovations in the spread of heat pipes through the aluminum fin stack and the arrangement of fins in the stack itself. From the base, six U-shaped nickel-plated copper heat pipes arise, passing through the aluminum fin stack along the length and breadth of the aluminum fins. Fins are arranged in inverted sets of five producing a pattern along the column of the stack, which works to improve heat dissipation.

As a large heatsink the Alpenfohn Himalaya measures 40 x 164 x 55 mm, weighing 880 g. It makes use of a 140 mm Wing Boost PWM-controllable fan that spins between 300 to 1100 RPM with 10 to 19.4 dBA rated noise output. The cooler is compatible with all modern CPU socket types available in the market, including Intel LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, and LGA775; and AMD FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, and AM2. It will be priced at €59.90.
