Neznam jel to istinito jer Radeon 6500 XT još ne postoji za nabavu.
Nego ja bi da Alchemist konkurira RDNA3 and ne prošlogoidišnjem RDNA2. Tko zna jel će za 2-3 godine biti moguće koristiti za igre nove generacije.

Dobro bude, ako išta od najavljenoga uopće bude u rangu s tada već dvije godine starim nVidia Ampere i Radeon RDNA 2 arhitekturama, a kamoli da odmah na prvu gađaju nešto kaj konkurencija tek treba izdati.

Na 6800XT i RTX3800 je ispod 60FPS. To je nabrijano to maximalnog detalja i mozda neoptimizirano no moze biti predokus nove generacije.

Mislim da će RDNA3 i RTX4000 imati odlične performanse i mogućnost za 60+ FPS na tom testu. Hoće li to moći Alchemist ne znam. Mozda Intel XE DG3 Battlemage.

Intel CEO vows to challenge nVidia, market is "hungry" for alternative GPUs

In a recent interview with CRN that covers several topics with Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger, one subject that was emphasised on was its impending battle with nVidia. Moving forward, one way Intel plans to differentiate itself from the GPU giant is by being "much more ecosystem-friendly" in terms of software that supports its components. "nVidia has become too proprietary, and that's widely seen in the industry, and so we're going to fill out that stack with oneAPI but do it in a way that's much more favorable and open to the industry and their innovations," he stated. oneAPI is an open programming model that covers different types of architectures, which includes Intel's silicon products such as CPUs, GPUs and FPGAs.

Addressing Intel's "under-focused" graphics business, Gelsinger stressed that the company's efforts in the GPU market have to go above and beyond in terms of features, performance and power, all of which have to be delivered at compelling price points for the consumer. Gelsinger attributed nVidia's success largely to how its leadership has operated the company for the past decade, but also pointed out how "they got really lucky" in the artificial intelligence field. "nVidia had essentially a 10x or better performance leadership for a decade. If you have that, a 10x leadership for 10 years, people are going to take advantage of that. And then they got really lucky: AI happens. A 30-year overnight success, and they harvested it really well at that point. So they worked hard, they earned and then they got lucky in that respect," Gelsinger explained.

Further detailing how Intel specifically intends to provide attractive products in the GPU market, Gelsinger touched on how they're going to make it seamless to go from integrated to discrete on the Intel platform. Putting weight behind his words, Intel has poached a former top GPU architect at AMD, Vineet Goel, to oversee its Xe GPU architecture that future GPU products will be based on. He will lead a team of architects and design engineers in "architecting, designing and verifying Intel's Xe IP roadmap."

Dvoboj divova, 2 igraća s brdo love koji će se koristiti svim mogućim sredstvima (a nisu im strane ni "prljave" igre) kako bi preuzeli tron, bit će jako zanimljivo pratiti situaciju, a da ne pričam da ćemo konačno gledati i borbu Intelovih i Nvidia fanova koji su dosad bili uglavnom jedno, a uskoro "smrtni" neprijatelji .

Živo me zanima kaj bude iz sve te direktorske priče na kraju ispalo, jer nVidia je puno zajebanija firma od Intela, a otkad je novi CEO preuzel glavnu riječ, na tapeti su odjednom svi: ARM, AMD, Apple i nVidia.

Apple je nakon više od deset godina povlačenja po sudu, odustal od borbe s nVidijiom, u međuvremenu odjebal Intel i složili su svoje CPU + GPU kombinacije, tak da bi se Pat mogel iznenaditi kad vidi s kim točno ima posla.

Phm, a Intel kao neće složiti nešto proprietary za svoje procesore prije ili kasnije. A ako itko zna igrati prljavo, nakon Nvidie je to prvi Intel. Bit će to Star Wars, samo s dva Imperija

Tak jasno, pa Windows 11 OS je najbolji primjer kak to izgleda kad Intel treba nešto za sebe i svoje, dok novi CEO samo priča ono kaj dioničari i ostatak društva žele čuti, a čim im se pruži prilika, eto njih na dobro utabanim stazama. Zato mi je smiješno kad tip veli da se nVidji "posrećilo", slično kak je izjavil da je AMD odradil svoje u posljednjih pet godina, te da bi sad bilo dosta i Intel se (ponovno) vraća na tron. nVidia je i više, nego sposobna Intelu uzeti mjeru i to samo kako oni znaju. Još, ako im se usput i "posreći", pa se i ostale firme priključe, CEO Pat bi začas mogel pojesti vlastite riječi i predviđanja. AMD, šrot firma kakva i je uz Lisu Su je napravila popriličnu količinu štete u relativno kratkom roku, a nVidia za razliku od AMD-a raspolaže itekakvim količinama, kaj nofca, kaj utjecaja, pa ako Intel CEO misli da će svi odjednom napustiti npr. samo CUDA dio priče i brže-bolje skočiti na Intelov vlak - mogel bi ga dočekati hladan tuš ili u najboljem slučaju neka vrsta Pirove pobjede.

Intel cans Xe-HP server GPU products, shifts focus to Xe-HPC and Xe-HPG

In a tweet published yesterday afternoon by Raja Koduri, Intel’s SVP and GM of the Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) Group, the GPU frontman revealed that Intel has dropped their plans to bring their Xe-HP series of server GPUs to the commercial market. Citing that Xe-HP has evolved into the Xe-HPC (Ponte Vecchio) and Xe-HPG (Intel Arc) families within Intel’s GPU group, the company seemingly no longer sees a need to release a second set of server GPUs – at least, not something based on Xe-HP as we know it. For now, the cancellation of Xe-HP raises some big questions about Intel’s server GPU plans. Xe-HP was intended to be the backbone of their server efforts, utilizing a scalable design that could range from one to four cores to serve datacenter needs ranging from compute to media processing. Between Xe-HP and Ponte Vecchio covering the very high end of the market (e.g. HPC), Intel was slated to develop a potent slate of parallel processors to compete with market-leader nVidia, and offer traditional Intel customers a GPU option that let them stay in Intel’s ecosystem.

Equally nebulous is a full understanding of why Intel opted to cancel Xe-HP. With the silicon already up and running, canceling it certainly sets back their server GPU plans. But as AMD has already begun rolling out their new CDNA2 architecture-based server GPU products, and nVidia is likely aiming for some kind of refresh of their own in 2022, there’s certainly the question of whether Xe-HP was simply too late and/or too slow to compete in the server market. Coupled with that, it’s the only lineup of high-performance Xe parts that Intel was fabbing themselves, using the 10nm Enhanced Superfin process (now referred to as Intel 7).
