AMD preparing AI-based Noise Suppression technology, an alternative to nVidia RTX Voice

Noise Suppression technology has just appeared in a leaked teaser video that was accidentally posed by AMD themselves on YouTube. Although the video was already taken down, Redditors were quick to make a copy. From the video we learn that Noise Suppression will work the same way nVidia does, which noise cancellation for input and output devices by injecting AI magic into of the audio pipeline. AMD will be adding this technology to its Audio and Video tab into the AMD Software Adrenalin Driver. So it will be part of the AMD software stack, combining even more features into one app. It is not quite clear when the technology will become available, but the leaked tear clearly mentioned ‘available now’, indicating that it should have been posted when the new driver is released.

Amd Revamped Its Drivers for Directx 11, Performance Increased by 10 Percent

AMD has decided to revamp its own drivers for DirectX 11, and this has produced a big performance boost. An average of about 10 percent, and in some games one can expect up to 30 percent performance gain.

Incidentally, AMD boasts of its strict testing approach, where it uses 6,000 different hardware setups.

AMD has provided as many as 26 updates for its own WHQL drivers last year alone. However, the reds are not only focusing on the latest APIs, but also seeking to introduce optimizations for older ones, and the improvements made for DirectX 11 are a good example of this.

AMD is claiming that optimizations made for older DirectX 11 APIs have caused performance to increase by an average of 10 percent compared to drivers 22.5.2 from May and 22.3.1 from March.

Odlicne vijesti od Amd-a za DX11 optimizaciju, jos se ceka kada ce u nove drivere ukljuciti podrsku za RSR (FSR 1.0) za Polaris i Vega grafiku, tako da se ne moraju koristiti programi za aktiviranje FSR 1.0 u svim igrama.

S obzirom da je mining-gpu groznica opala, mozda RSR i ne dovedu na starije arhitekture i tako da korisnici tih starijih kartica vise kupuju nove Rdna 2 i 3.

Da, čini se OK i stvarno bi za nadolazeće RDNA 3 modele mogli imati kompletni softverski paket. Obzirom na kuršlus zvan Intel ARC GPU, Radeon i GeForce budu još jedan dulji period jedini izbor.

Introducing: AMD Noise Suppression, New Performance Optimizations & Other AMD Software Updates

AMD Noise Suppression is a new feature coming to AMD Software stack. According to AMD, this technology works in real-time, and it is boosted by deep learning algorithm. The main purpose is to reduce background noise and improve audio clarity, no matter if it’s for the important meeting or a competitive gaming. One should note however, that Noise Suppression is only available for Ryzen 5000 and Radeon RX 6000 or newer hardware. It is not stated when or if support for older hardware is planned.

Zadnju amd graficku sam imao prije jedno 5 godina, tad nije bilo nimalo bajno, a grebe me 7900xtx kad izadje...

Ja kad sam uzeo RX 5700 kad je izašla u početku baš i nisu nešto stabilini bili,nakon par mjeseci se popravilo,nemam nikaakvih problema,tu i tamo se zblesira pa vrati na default postavke. Doduše ja samo imam ručno podešene fan postavke tako da samo loadam taj profil i gonim dalje.

da ljudi pricaju svasta o radeon sofware-u i driver-ima a uvjerio sam se puno puta da je do korisnika. da bilo je problema sa 5000 serijom ali sa 6000 rdna2 nisam imao nikakvih problema ni sa whql ni optional tj beta a kupio sam 6600xt cim je dosla. neke igre bolje rade na nvidia-i ali to ne znaci da na radeon grafickim karticama ne rade ili da je ne igrivo plus jos radeon software panel koji je super pregledan i korisnik si puno toga moze sam podesiti. kao i kolega dewil23 imam profil koji se ucita i igra se bez problema i muka. trebalo bi prestati pricati gluposti o radeon driver-ima pogotovo nvidia korisnici koji ne koriste radeon graficke kartice nisi su ih imali zadnjih nekoliko godina a price nije mi radilo nesto 2010 godine su u danasnje vrijeme glupe i nepotrebne i koristite sto god zelite a samo prestanite pricati gluposti kako driver-i ne valjaju i price nemam ja ali vidio sam kod frenda i prelazi na nvidia-u

brzi su ali toliko su stabilni da je meni 5700xt u kutiji u ormaru.
