Da, eventualno mogu izgurati nvidiju ponešto iz laptopa, i adored tv je napravio neki primjer u zadnjem videu (gdje bi OEM u teoriji mogli imati primamljiviji deal), ali ništa što ih se previše tiče

Ne mora ovaj "intel - g" ići u svaki laptop, IMO i dalje će u high endu vjerojatno dominirati high end dgpu + "normalan" cpu, iako će vjerojatno izgubit nešto marketsharea u laptopima, koliko vidjet ćemo

Nisam siguran, jer će trebat to čudo i ohladit. Taj "paket" ima dosta veliku površinu, pa će vjerojatno preko toga rokniti neki veliki komad bakra na heatpipeu. Znači ovo je najviše za "ultrathin" i regular high end laptope. U tako malene stvari uglavnom idu ulv procesori i sl., eventualno neka slabija verzija gpu-a, al sumnjam

Let’s move onto the bigger issue آ– the desire of AMD’s current GPU leadership to spin off from the rest of AMD and become "ATI" again. Now what we have is a dysfunctional and acrimonious relationship between the CEO and the head of the Radeon Technologies Group. One just has to look at the uncomfortable interaction between the two on the stage at the recent Game Developers Conference "Capsaicin" event and the body language says it all.

Where the plot thickens is when you look at the Koduri’s unwavering ambition. Koduri’s ultimate goal is to separate the Radeon Technologies Group from its corporate parent at all costs with the delusion that RTG will be more competitive with NVIDIA and become a possible acquisition target for Koduri and his band of mutineers to cash in when it's sold. While Koduri is known to have a strong desire to do this by forging a new relationship with Apple on custom parts (no surprise there) for Macbooks, the real focus is on trying to become the GPU technology supplier of choice to none other than Intel. While this was speculated some time ago I can tell you with certainty that a deal is in the works with Intel and Koduri and his team of marauders working overtime to get the deal pulled into port ASAP. The Polaris 10/11 launch, and all of its problems, are set to become a future problem of Intel’s in what RTG believes will be a lucrative agreement that will allow Koduri and his men to slash the lines from Lisa Su and the rest of AMD.

Intel is licensing AMD GPU technology. No money has changed hands yet, so there is not financial impact till late in the year, hence nothing in the current earnings report.

The first product AMD is working on for Intel is a Kaby Lake processor variant that will positioned in the entry-to-mid level performance segment. It is in fact an MCM (multi-chip-module), and will not be on-die with the KB CPU. It is scheduled to come to market before the end of the year. I would expect more collaboration between AMD and Intel in the future on the graphics side.

Kako ga nisu doživljavali kad su skoro godinu dana svi brujili o tome. Treba samo prebacit ovu temu na te datume. Razlog zašto se stišalo, a što je i najzaniljivije u čitavoj priči je što su obje strane službeno odbacili glasine prije par mjeseci.

Nisu ga doživljavali prvenstveno radi toga, jer zbog svojih stavova nije popularan (uključujući i njegov vlastiti [H]ard|OCP) među ostatkom IT novinara/recenzenata.

Da, svi su brujili o tome kao još jednoj u nizu suludih glasina, pogotovo diljem društvenih mreža, ali su isto tako, uredno odbacivali mogućnost bilo kakve suradnje na relaciji Intel - AMD.

Znam, isto se spominje u ovoj temi, nije da to osporavam. Ako ti se da odvrti i cijelu [H]ard|OCP forum raspravu koja ide od svibnja 2016. Zato i sam spomenul da ga nisu doživljavali.

Nisam mislio odmah u ovom početnom izdanju ali će Intel sigurno upotrijebiti AMD/ATI i u ostalim svojim procesorima, i ULV i Atomima. Inače cijeli deal ne bi imao smisla, ostaviti trenutne Intelove integrirane grafičke bi bio totalni promašaj, AMD bi ga sa svojom novom serijom procesora s integriranom grafičkom pojeo za doručak.

Da, vjerojatno će kasnije (s godinama) ako se ova suradnja nastavi i ove integrirane unutar procesora (jer pretpostavljam da neće ići na "paket" sa svim proizvodima) biti radeonke

Kaj se tiče Intelovih iGPU rješenja, ona bi i s novim procesorima trebala biti prisutna (za nezahtjevno korištenje: multimedija, surfanje, itd.), a AMD-ov dodatak bi se koristil za sve ostalo.

I to može biti privremeno, dok se dalje ne dogovore oko licenciranja potrebnih tehnologija za proizvodnju Intelovih high-end grafičkih kartica.

Zgodno.

Ak me oko ne vara, napajanja ove ploče se nebi posramile ni odrasle x299 sestre.
Nije valjda da za hlađenje treba 2 kile Cu blok i chiller na kotačima...

Uzmi u obzir da se radi o cpu, gpu i hbm vrm-u.

Polaris je efikasan i može radit na prilično niskom naponu ako se ne pretjeruje sa taktovima. Dodaš na sve hbm koji troši jako malo i 35W(?) proc i nemaš potrebe za ogromnim hlađenjem.
