LTSC, sa isključenom hibernacijom, 16GB.
Također provjeri dal je reserved storage disejblan, trebao bi biti po defaultu OFF na LTSC.

Koliko je zauzeće poslije instalacije


  • Windows 10 S (i gdje ga skinuti)
  • Windows 10 LTSC? (to mislim da preporučate)
  • Windows 10 Home (mada je trenutno on gore i onda je slobodno cca 3-4 gb a nekad i manje)
Treba mi za jedan HP Stream laptop koji ima 32GB emmc
Računaj samo na Win 10 LTSC isto gubi Support ove godine. IOT verzija ne. I nije bit koliko troši već kako raspolaže tim resursima i što grinda u pozadini i s vremenom naraste.

P.S. Windows 10 LTSC IOT pukni gore ak još nije jasno. U 2025 jedino to ili Linux ima smisla za starije kante.

ok. budem vidio, a i tako taj laptop ide dalje.


Ne kužim kako je HP zamislio na 32 gb emmc-a nekaj staviti. Je da bi ja linux stavio kaj se mene tiče i da ga mislim koristiti.


Baš sam i nekaj pitao ChatGPT da mi napiše zauzeće od W95 do danas. Pa to je naraslo sam tak.


Windows 95

  • 600 MB - 800 MB (s tipičnim instalacijama)
  • Minimalna instalacija mogla je stati na 500 MB.
Windows 98 (SE)

  • 700 MB - 1.2 GB
  • Ovisilo je o dodatnim komponentama poput Internet Explorera.
Windows 2000 (Professional)

  • 1.0 GB - 2.0 GB
  • Jedan od prvih Windows sustava koji je bio optimiziran za NT kernel.
Windows XP (Home/Professional)

  • 1.5 GB - 2.5 GB
  • Kasnija ažuriranja i Service Packovi povećavali su prostor do 4 GB.
Windows 7 (Home Premium/Professional/Ultimate)

  • 10 - 20 GB
  • Ovisilo je o verziji i arhitekturi (32-bit ili 64-bit).

Ove procjene mogu varirati ovisno o arhitekturi (32-bit ili 64-bit), uključenim komponentama i ažuriranjima.

Veličina instalacije Windows 3.11:

  • Minimalna instalacija: oko 6 MB
  • Standardna instalacija: oko 10 - 12 MB
  • Puna instalacija (s svim komponentama): oko 20 MB

Ukratko WIFI karticu zamjeniš sa NVMe adapterom, ja sam kupio ovo ovaj adapter i one mini HP NVMe diskove od 128 GB od par eura što su se prodavali po dućanima nedavno. Nakon toga slijediš upute sa videa (EFI boot sa rEFInd).

Ja sam još unutra žrtvovao jedan USB 3.0 port i zalemio ovaj kabel direktno na ploču na kraju kojeg sam spojio TP-Link T3U wireless karticu unutar samog laptopa da ne viri van.

HP Stream 14, radi još uvijek ko zmaj Nije baš za surfanje jer za današnji internet Celeron N3060 i 2GB rama je jednostavno presporo, ali za putovanja, mailove i gledanje serija u busu dušu dalo. Baterija nakon više od 7 godina još drži oko 6-7 sati.

LTSC ima support do 2027 ne 2025, a IOT LTSC do 2032.

Evo ja sam si još jednu kramu sa 22h2 Pro prebacio na IOT LTSC, sve prošlo u redu, sve radi za sada. Dobio cca 10gb više mjesta na SSDu, ostalo sve isto.

Ovaj ChatGPT je totalno prolupao s ovim megabajtima za 95icu, 98icu i možda čak i 2000

Pa 95 si mogao dobit na disketama, kakvih 500-800 MB instalacije

Sjećam se ja jako dobro da ih je bilo masu i trajalo je sto godina dok se ne instalira.

I onda na zadnjoj disketi read-error
Da je bar bilo tako, meni je znalo biti od npr tih 34 diskete, 20 neispravno, a tko je radio sa disketama zna koliko je to smeće bilo osjetljivo.
Kupiš nov novcati paket od 10 komada i krivo ga pogledaš i obavezno 1-2 ne rade.

Ja sam imao lokalnog pirata na 20ak min od kuće i onda bi išao do njega po neke CD ripove na tako 30+ disketa jer nisam imao CD ROM, i onda prvo dok se to snimi na diskete, pa trk doma, pa ih pola ne radi, pa nazad, pa od tih ponovno prekopiranih pola, opet pola ne radi....

Neke stvari su s razlogom izbačene iz upotrebe. Tj sada služe kao SAVE dugme.

Diskete su bile očaj. Nisam ih puno koristio, a ono nešto malo što jesam (uglavnom za bootanje uređaja koji drugačije nisu htjeli) bilo je to užasno. Valjda nigdje na svijetu ne postoji ijedan set od 34 diskete koji radi kako spada.

he he. to su bila slatka vremena, sta god mislio o floppy-u. kad se sjetim 93. i moje prve 486ice dx2 66mhz. nikad slade. sami pocetci. nema neta, nema knjiga, nema drugih geek-ova oko tebe da ti prenesu znanje. sam na svijetu, i nabijas po DOS-u i ucis. nikad vise tako.

Utoliko gore je bilo kada floppy zakaže. Loša je to tehnologija bila. Ne kažem da nešto nije bilo u redu s tim vremenom, sve su to razne faze koje su se morale proći.

Ja se sjećam pred cca 15 godina kada je frend imao crysis iso na nekom kompu na poslu i to je trebalo prebaciti Nismo stick toliko veliki imali, meni je 8GB dugo vremena bio max što sam imao, pa sam mu dao neki stari 20GB HDD. On je to spojio, prebacio, dok je meni donio natrag disk više nije bio u funkciji

Tu negdje, ali meni je veći problem bio da nije imao integrirani Dial-up Networking jer Bill Gates nije vjerovao u Information Superhighway.
Sjećam se da sam morao kupiti Net časopis koji je u svakom broju imao disketu s gorenavedenim.
Ali da, slatke su to brige bile...

Moj je plan ostaviti Win10 na jednoj manjoj particiji i isključiti se s interneta tako da nema problema s zaštitom. Ima gomilu starih stvari/softvera koje bolje radi na Win 10 ili nije uopće kompatibilno s win11 24h2.
Ne pada mi na pamet ostati bez Win10. Na glavnoj particiji win11/win12 ili što već...

Don’t look for it. Be happy with what you got. Because the owners of this country don't want that. I'm talking about the real owners now, the real owners, the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the senate, the congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying, to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don’t want: They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. Thats against their interests. Thats right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Jesam nesto propustio, zasto w10 micemo s neta?

Kada istekne security patches support nebi bilo pametno taj komp držati povezano na netu. Ok, naravno prvih 6mj-1god nebi trebalo biti strašno ali s vremenom... bolje biti siguran.
Na Win11 24h2 npr ne radi dobro MadVr renderer zadnja free verzija, Displaycal ...

Decki ne pretjerivati. Prestanak supporta nije Kill Switch, znaci samo da OS nece vise sigurnosne zakrpe dobivat. To znaci da se nemozete vise pouzdati na interne sigurnosne sisteme vec morate poceti korsititi 3rd party software za tu namjenu. Jos godinu - dvije ste bez brige na netu - vjerojatno. No treba gledat ako je stroj za net gore puknut Win 11 ako je moguce ili Linux ako hardwer nije pod Win 11 podrzan.

The big picture: Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 this October despite its rising popularity compared to its successor, Windows 11. With millions of PCs ineligible to upgrade, Microsoft and PC manufacturers hope users will buy new devices regardless of whether their old hardware is truly obsolete.
Bob Phony reports that Microsoft has begun sending emails to users still running Windows 10, informing them that support for the operating system ends later this year. Although the emails include a short, informative FAQ, the company merely implies that it wants customers to buy new PCs.
Microsoft has spent months pushing full-screen pop-ups to nudge users with Windows 11-compatible devices to upgrade, some of which cause crashes. Thus, the company might only be sending emails to customers with registered PCs that don't meet the new operating system's stringent requirements.

Ovo je zaboravljeno da se spomene, znači plaćanje i plaćanje, za stoku velikih zuba.

Ova olabavljena verzija sa minimalnim zahtjevima bi bila dobra stvar, valjda će nam Microsoft i predložiti takvo nešto jer nema šanse da otpišemo cca 70% računala, a s druge strane sve mora biti po ps-u.

Koristimo Enterprise inače.
