Tak jasno da nVidia nema nikakvih problema s financijama, a tim više se postavlja pitanje zašto su ovu AI/HPC/ML Blackwell arhitekturu uopće išli izbacivati za "igranje igrica".

Komotno su mogli preskočiti sve skupa, jer nakon više od dvije godine - RTX 5000 serija nije ispala baš nešto posebno, a bome nVidia je mogla i bez toga, jer konkurencije nemaju.

Da, nakon kaj su 2017. izdali zadnju još donekle gamersku karticu u pogledu 700$ vrijednog GTX 1080 Ti modela, skužili su da je to jednostavno bila predobra kartica koja je dulji period bila i više nego aktualna. I nakon toga su krenule RTX pizdarije upotpunjene PR i marketing brojkama lišene ikakvog zdravog razuma popraćene podjedanko suludim cijenama koje krajnji kupci vrlo rado plaćaju. I sad kad već nekoliko generacija zaredom izdaju RTX modele koji se prije svega baziraju na enterprise arhitekturi, škart koji im ostane kao višak, se lijepo zapakira i prezentira kao The way it’s meant to be played igračka, a neovisno o tome da li ima zalihe, potrebe i ponude, stvara se "još malo, pa nestalo po diskontnim cijenama" efekt, tako da se sve (tri uistinu raspoložive kartice) što prije rasproda(ju).

Prateći recenzije, kritike na Nvidiju su jače nego zadnji put. Vjerojatno imaju još mindsharea za izjahati ovu generaciju, ali ako ovo ponove još jedan put, a AMD obavi svoj posao, iduća generacija bi mogla biti čupava za njih.
Ali zna to i Jensen, pa će smisliti već nešto.

Jensen je prepametan i presnalažljiv da ga se dočeka spuštenih gaća.
Rekao bih da je on drugi naj prodavač magle u ITu, Jobs je ipak neprikosnoven i mislim da ga nikada nitko neće skinuti.
Ali ni Lisa nije blesava, samo da riješe taj usrani marketing i da malo po malo vrate raju kod sebe (kao sa ryzenom)...ne ide ništa preko noći.

Iskreno, čisto sumnjam. Consoooomere možeš do zla boga zajebavat i uzimat im pare i što ih više vrijeđaš i smatraš glupanima, to više kupuju Ko spomenuti Jobs, ili ko Intel u slavno vrijeme quad core proceva sa generacijskim pomakom od 4%.
AMD bi morao obavit nemoguće, imat brže kartice i postić da ne samo da FSR bude bolji od DLSSa nego da bude jednako podržan kao DLSS. Praktički nemoguće nažalost.

der8auer explores this topic and explains why it is incorrect to immediately assume user error or poor cable quality. He examined the damaged card under a microscope and confirmed that he frequently uses Moddiy cables for his own products, verifying that they are of high quality. The card’s connector, as well as the PSU side, was also pictured under a microscope. It turns out that RTX 5090 FE cards have an uneven distribution of power across all 12V cables. Under a thermal imaging camera, it became obvious that only two cables out of four heat up significantly more than the others, with the PSU connector side reaching a shocking temperature of 150°C.

Kad bi nVidiu pogodio jedan fini bojkot od bar mjesec dana, vjerujem da bi se stvari promijenile. Ovako, dok god se prodaju kartice a nisu još ni pošteno ugledale svjetlo dana bit će još i skuplje.
Kod mene će 3080Ti biti bar isto vremena koliko je bila i 1080Ti prije nje.

mislio umiroviti 3080, ali s ovakvim cijenama nema smisla

trebam platiti 3x vrijednosti 3080 da dobijem max 50-60% performasi u 4k. na 1440p je jos i nize

ako 9070xt bude u rangu 4080 za ispod 1k eura za bolje modele(nitro/red devil) cu radije nju uzet
