Catalyst 7.9 introduces the following new features:

* Avivo Video Converter for Windows Vista (64-bit)
* Catalyst Control Center: Color Temperature Control

Avivo Video Converter for Windows Vista (64-bit)

This release of Catalyst™ introduces the Avivo Video Converter for the Windows Vista (64 bit) operating system. The Avivo Video Converter is a transcoder tool that provides a quick and easy way of converting videos from one format to another. The Avivo Video Converter found within the Catalyst™ Control Center, allows the user to select the input file, and output format, along with the quality level and file location. The Avivo. Video Converter accepts a wide variety of file formats as a source, and outputs to file formats such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4/DivX, WMA, H.264/AVC and more.
Catalyst Control Center: Color Temperature Control

This release of Catalyst™ introduces Color Temperature Control within the Catalyst Control Center, allowing users to adjust the chromatic level shown on their display. Supported on the ATI Radeon™ X1000 Series and Radeon™ HD 2000 Series of products.
Performance Improvements

The following performance improvements are noticed with Catalyst™ 7.9:

* Far Cry performance improves up to 14 % on the ATI Radeon™ HD2900XT CrossFire™, ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT single card, and ATI Radeon™ HD2400XT CrossFire™ configurations
* Call of Duty 2 performance improves as much as 12% with Anti-Aliasing enabled on the ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT CrossFire™ and single card configurations
* Half-Life 2: Episode 1 performance improves at most 9% on ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT CrossFire™ and as much as 6% on the ATI Radeon™ HD2400XT CrossFire™ configurations.
* Serious Sam 2 performance improves up to 46% on the ATI Radeon™ HD2400XT CrossFire™ and up to 27% on the ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT single card and CrossFire™ configurations with Anti-Aliasing enabled.
* Quake 4 performance with Anti-Aliasing improves 9% or more on the ATI Radeon™ X1600/X1650Pro and ATI Radeon™ X1300/X1550 products in both single and CrossFire™ configurations

Baš me zanima koliko će trebati da 2600XT pretekne 1950PRO ovim tempom, čisto da se osjećam bolje pri pogledu na threadove gdje ekipa preporučuje 1950PRO i GT

Friško instalirana vista x64, jucer je isprobao prvi put, full updateana, radi x puta bolje od viste 32, mozda to samo meni ili imam losu vistu 32...
Uglavnom jedva sam natjerao edimaxov srot od wlan kartice
Idemo vidjet sto mogu ovi driveri...

ajd da vas pitam, ukoliko hoću staviti novije drivere, da li moram one starije prije toga obrisati sa dc pa nove ponovo instalati, ili mogu samo preko starih nove instalirati

Većina savjetuje čišćenje, ja osobno u 3 godine nijednom nisam čistio, samo šibam nove preko starih i nikada problema (znači preko 30 instalacija )

Niposto nemoj preko novih. Makar uninstaliraj te koje imas ako vec neces ic preko DC-a. Mada je DC preporucljiv, pogotovo kod prelaska sa ATI na Nvidiju i obrnuto

Ja nikad nisam ni imo DC na svom kompu. Sibam nove preko starih. Doduse odkad je doso CF, koji neradi, mozda bi trebo probati sa DC. Briso sam ih preko add/remove.

Na kraju instalacije dobio sam poruku "Zero display service error". Malo sam progooglo i uglavnom se veže uz neke probleme s prelaskom nVidie na ATI(što nisam), lošom instalacijom samih windowsa, npr. kada stavljate sve drivere u početku, pa ne restartate svaki put kad vas savjetuje nego nastavljate instaliravati ostale drivere(možda jesam), i sa lošim/starijim verzijama DriverCleanerom(nisam). Isto tako taj problem ne bi trebao utjecati na same performasne...

Ja probao. 7.8 su mi je radio probleme pa sam koristio 7.6. Sa 7.9 radi sve kao na 7.6 a i performanse su valjda bolje. Bioshock apsolutno sve na high i reza 1024*768 nijednom ne zatrzalo.

što je potrebno imati instalirano na kompu da bi CCC radio??

Za CCC ti treba .NET Framework 2.0 ili 3.0. Verzije 7.9 još nema sa CP-om, posljednja je 7.7.

Evo i ja imam sranja s tim driverima... Kao i uvijek, prvo vratim image sistema (XP) u kojem nikad nije bilo nikakvih drivera za grafu. Instaliram redom Display Driver pa WDM, resetiram komp i nakon XP logoa nema slike. Upalim TV, na njemu isto nema. Iskopčam DVI kabel, na TV-u se pojavi slika, ukopčam DVI kabel, pojavi se i na monitoru. Još jednom resetiram komp i opet nema slike. Slijedi ista procedura s kabelom. Zatim deinstaliram monitor i TV, resetiram, isto. Eto toliko o driverima...

Vraćam 7.7 sa CP-om, nisam lud nakon svakog bootanja iskopčavati pa ukopčavati DVI kabel...

Ma krepala mi je LED bljeskalica na mobu pa se neće vidjeti što radim...

Meni za sad sve radi odlicno, cak mi nije ni rezolucije dirao na oba monitora, a nit mi je pomako ijednu ikonicu na bilo kojem monitoru. A instalirao sam drajvere za obje grafe i odma u paketu i drajvere za plocu i nista se nebuni. Jos nisam nista pokrenuo ozbiljnije osim autocada. I mogao bi sad opet probat se sa CF-om igrat.
