Ja jedva čekam da u prodaju kod nas dođu novi Celeroni (Conroe-L) jer koliko vidim vani su full jeftini a gadovi su poprilično brzi.

P.S. ne mogu vjerovat da se meni napokon neki Intelov Celeron sviđa

tebi se svida sve sto je u plocastom obliku sjajne boje dimenzijama < od 300mm^2

ma pocelo je opet klokanje...sad vise nije ram,grafa,cpu...(to je postalo uobicajno) sada su u modi chipseti

sve je to fino i lijepo, ali "in real life" ovaj p4 630 kojeg ja imam je još uvijek dovoljno brz, osim u testovima... ili ako netko puno radi audio-video obradu...

neki dan sam uboo e2160, nisam niti digao windowse, odmah sam ga digao na 3ghz, sa defaultnih 1.8...
probao igranje, izvrtio par benchmarka. nije me oduševio po ničemu, osim po nezagrijavanju. gad na 3 gige u idleu stoji na 22°, nakon 2 sata igranja nekih dođe na 35° pod bt vx@1200 okrtaja...

Both boards are the fruit of labor of two dedicated and top-notch DFI engineers; Oskar and Jarry. The X38 chipset will be able to support DDR2 as well although Intel did not list that down officially on their roadmap. Amid sky high prices of the DDR3 memories currently, it seems it is a logical choice to stick to the much cheaper DDR2 memories. Of course, the LANPARTY X38-T3R board that supports DDR3 memories will come later. LANPARTY X38-T2R/T3R board supports 1333FSB Core 2 Duo and Quad processors, two x16 PCIe slots for dual graphics + one x4 for physical, 8-Phase Digital PWM, special heatpipe cooling for PWM, MCH and ICH.

ma da, to je taj novi chipset. Ali pogle samo naponske jedinice, full digitalni regulatori. I ovi SATA konektori strava izgledaju.

to je opcenito cudno...posto si je celeron zadnjih godina gradio reputaciju dreq procesora

konacno ce se i to promijenit...natrag na puteve tualatina

Intel će pokušati skrenuti pažnju sa najavom Core 2 Duo/Quad 6850 i ostalim FSB 333 CPU-ovima. Najaviće ih danas a ploče koje ih podržavaju su već izašle.
Ovime će se dobiti nešto dodatnih performansi unutar računara ali to je sve. U isto vrijeme Intel će sniziti cijene X6800 i X6700 koje podržavaju samo FSB266.

This morning at Computex, Intel held a very small and private tech session that was aimed at showing off what a pair of their upcoming 45nm Penryn processors could do in their famed V8 test system that we first showed you back at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year. Just a couple months ago at the Beijing Intel Developers Forum, Intel let the media benchmark a single 3.33GHz Penryn processor and we found it to be a monster. It seems that Intel was trying to bury the hatchet firmly in AMD's back and they might have succeeded in their mission this morning.

Intel Senior Performance Analyst Francois Piednoel as he just finished running benchmarks with the V8 system which was running a pair of 3.00GHz Penryn processors that offered a combined total cache size of 24MB (12MB per processor). With all eight 3GHz cores ready for action and 16,358MB of FB-DIMM memory installed in the motherboard the Vista Ultimate 64-bit test system was ready for benchmarking.

SiS plans to unleash a new family of single-chip and dual-chip chipsets for Intel Penryn dual and quad-core processors next year. The single-chip family consists of the SiS 680-series, in five different variants. SiS plans to cater the 680-series towards performance, mainstream and entry-level market segments.

• The top dog of the SiS 680-series is the 680SCD with support for 1333 MHz front-side bus Penryn processors. The SiS 680SCD features a DDR2 memory controller with support for DDR2-800 and 1066 MHz memory. The single-chip solution is designed with single-graphics in mind with support for a single PCIe x16 slot. Other notable features of the 680SCD include support for four PCIe x1 slots, ten USB 2.0, four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports and Gigabit Ethernet.
  
  
• On the mainstream side of things are the SiS 680SCE and 680SCH. The two chipsets are identical with the exception of front-side bus support. The SiS 680SCE supports 1333 MHz front-side bus while the 680SCH is limited to 1066 MHz, officially. The SiS 680SCE and 680SCH add a new Mirage 4 graphics core with HDMI output capabilities.
  
  
• At the bottom of the SiS single-chip Intel chipset lineup are the 680SCP and 680SCL. Once again, the SiS 680SCP and 680SCL are identical with the exception of front-side bus and memory support. The SiS 680SCP supports 1333 MHz front-side bus processors while the 680SCL is limited to 1066 MHz. The SiS 680SCL only supports DDR2-800 memory as well. The SiS 680SCP and 680SCL do not support HDMI and HDCP.

Expect SiS to begin sampling the new single-chip chipsets in Q4’2007 and the dual-chip versions in the first half of 2008.

Ma preseravaju sa ovim c2d procesorima ali et samo da im je zaradit na jadnom narodu

vjerovatno zarađuju dosta love ali mislim da imaju malo previše procesora koji se slabo uzimaju. Recimo sada 6400,6300,E4400,E2140(20-30 jeftini od E2160),E6700 i sad još kad izađu E6x50.... imat će dosta toga viška

pa da, ali bi 6x00 vjerojatno trebali otici u povjest uskoro, a ovo ostalo je ok da ostane, 2 varijante low end dc procesora i 2 varijante high end proceva + celeron.

situacija je slicna kao sa pentiumom 5xy, 6xy, 8xy i 9xy, a u isto vrijeme i celici su se prodavali s 256 i 512kb cache-a, znaci 6 vrsta procesora je cak bilo u intelovoj ponudi do nedavno..

• Intel’s latest roadmap adds two more processors to the upcoming lineup. The roadmap reveals early plans for the Yorkfield-based Core 2 Extreme and another Core 2 Duo E4000-sequence processor. With Yorkfield, Intel differentiates the Core 2 Extreme and Core 2 Duo models by the front-side bus speed. Intel Core 2 Extreme Yorkfield processors will have a 1333 MHz front-side bus, continuing on where the Kentsfield Core 2 Extreme QX6850 leaves off. The quad-core processor supports Intel VT, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep and Intel 64 and Execute Disable Bit technologies. Intel leaves TXT technology out of the 45nm Core 2 Extreme however.
  
  
• Intel’s Core 2 Duo E4000-sequence receives a speed bump in Q4’2007. The new Core 2 Duo E4600 clocks in at 2.4 GHz and remains on an 800 MHz front-side bus. Aside from the speed bump, the Core 2 Duo E4600 is no different from other Core 2 Duo E4000-sequence models. Intel plans to debut the Core 2 Duo E4600 at a $133, per unit in 1,000 unit quantities, price point. The existing Core 2 Duo E4500 will drop down to a $113, per unit in 1,000 unit quantities, price point when the Core 2 Duo E4600 debuts.

Intel plans to continue the cheap Core 2 E4000 series with a higher speed E4600 (2.4Ghz) processor in Q4 this year while its counterparts, E4500 (2.2Ghz) and E4400 (2.0Ghz) will be launched on Jul 22nd with a price tag of $133 and $113 respectively. E4600 will take over the E4500 pricing in Q4 while the latter will have a price cut to $113. Intel plans to lower the mobile processors pricing and introduce some new processors on Sept 2nd. On this date, 7 new processors will be launched and they are X7900, T7800, T7250, L7700, U2200, U2100, 550.

Kraj za postojeće Core 2 procesore

Neki proizvođači matičnih ploča za Intelove LGA775 procesore su najavili da Intel planira do kraja godine prestati proizvoditi većinu svojih sadašnjih Core 2 procesora, tj. zamijeniti ih nadolazećima. Naime, kako će za točno mjesec dana Intel na tržište plasirati svoje prve procesore koji će raditi na taktu FSB-a od 1333 MHz, oni bi trebali iz prodaje istisnuti sadašnje procesore koji rade na taktu FSB-a od 1066 MHz. Procesori koji će se pojaviti 22. srpnja su E6850 frekvencije 3 GHz, E6750 (2.66 GHz) i E6550 (2.33 GHz). Nešto poslije Intel će plasirati i četverojezgreni QX6850. Svi navedeni procesori će podržavati postojeće Intelove tehnologije Virtualisation, SpeedStep i EM64.

Procesorima E6300, E6320, E6420, E6600 i E6700 koji rade na taktu FSB-a od 1066 MHz će Intel na isti dan spustiti cijenu, a planira ih u potpunosti prestati proizvoditi do kraja godine. To će također biti kraj za trenutnu Intelovu desktop perjanicu Core 2 Extreme X6800 kao i za Pentium D procesore. Osim ovih procesora, Intel će također već u kolovozu prestati proizvoditi preostale, sad već prilično zastarjele, Pentium 4 procesore, dok će rujan biti kraj za QX6700.

Nadam se da nisam pogrješio ovo sam pročitao na stranici BUG-a
i mislim da je vrlo interesantno za buduče korisnike i kupce Intela
ako postoji več ovakva informacija na PCE molim moderatore da
obrišu i još se jednom ispričavam.
