Dune: Prophecy, nije ni tako nelose. Moglo je bit i gore, a i bolje. Produkcija je dobra, efecti, nije sve tamno kao u filmovima. Posebno su pazili da je u svakom novom kadru, nova rasa
Obzirom da sam procitao knjige, kraj je ono WTF?!

Slažem se. Za sad djeluje gledljivo iako da kraj je wtf. Nekako mi se čini da neće znati dobro razviti priču oko moći već će ispasti da se radi o nadnaravnim sposobnostima iako to ne bi smjele biti

A dobro, Dune oduvijek koketira sa nadnaravnim. Od zacina koji otvara um, produzuje zivot, daje navigatorima sposobnost predvidjanja,preko vjestica do Quizat Haderach pa na dalje. Jedino se ne sjecam da je u knjizi bio taj lik i ta sposobnost koja se prikazala na kraju prve epizode.

Nisam bas siguran u uspjeh serije. Osim forsiranih woke elemenata, prilicno je tesko pratiti (kao i filmove uostalom) tko tu koga i zasto. A u seriji cak imaju i naraciju, barem na pocetku u kojoj su lijepo mogli objasniti zasto se Harkonneni i Atreidi toliko mrze. Barem to je dobro opisano u tim prequel knjigama.

Dune: Prophecy nakon samo jedne epizode ostavlja bolji dojam, nego cjelokupno The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power izdanje, tak da IMHO serija bi mogla ispasti čist vredu.

ako si ikad probao gljive, onda možeš vidjeti poveznicu sa začinom, otvaranjem uma, nadnaravnim sposobnostima predviđanja itd. Meni su sve te sposobnosti vrlo logične s aspekta treniranja i evolucije uma kroz to treniranje i ne vidim proces ni najmanje magičnim, dapače, smatranje toga magičnim pokazuje ne razumijevanje što se točno dešava. Jer ipak se taj proces evolucije odvija kroz priču tisućama godina i sasvim je logično da bi se kroz to vrijeme moglo itekako što šta povećati revnim treningom i širenjem svijesti uz pomoć začina

ne znam, meni je sve jasno, dapače, odmah je rečeno da su Harkoneni protjerani zbog bježanja iz bitke

osobno sam vrlo alergičan na woke elemente no koliko god sam ih želio vidjeti u seriji, jednostavno ih ne vidim. To što su mnoge žene "strong female character" ne znači da je woke jer su benne gesserit isključivo ženski red... tako da serija je za sada potpuno woke free, ali bez brige, naglasim ako vidim drugačije

Probao sam gljive ne pizzi, jel' se to racuna? Vise su mi um prosirile feferonke, pogotovo drugi dan

Poznato mi je da je Herbert imao gljive kao inspiraciju za zacin al' da postoji bilo kakva supstanca koja daje mogucnost gledanja u buducnost mi je prilicno nevjerojatna. A pogotovo superpowers koje su prikazali na kraju prve epizode.

Ovo za bjezanje iz bitke mi je ocigledno promaklo da su spomenuli.

Naravno da su sve Bene Gesserit zene, ipak je sestrinstvo Pod woke sam mislio na napadno isticanje razlicitih rasa. Recimo u kadru kad sapucu. Radnja se dogadja tisucama godina u buducnosti kad smo svi valjda vec izmjesani i stvarno nije bitno naglasavati taj diversity.

Jebogaled, pa prva stvar koju su rekli u prvih nekoliko minuta uvoda je pozadina Atreides-Harkonnen mržnje. Kaj se ženski i rasa tiče, u toj jednoj epizodi nije bilo ničega kaj bi se moglo okarakterizirati kao tzv. woke. Serija je stvarno OK krenula, IMHO ne treba tražiti probleme i nedostatke tamo di ih nema, jer puno veće ekranizacije su prošle lošije kod kritike i publike, dok se Dune: Prophecy s planiranih šest epizoda sasvim fino nameće kao potencijalno solidna serija.

Meni ej bila čisto ok. Mala mi je full simpa. Još kada sjedne u onu ciglu na kotačima od Volva 240, još mi je simpatičnija. Kasnije sam skužio da je glumila u seriji Wednesday i sada u novom Minecraftu.

pa samo Paul Artrides može jasno gledati u budućnost, ovi drugi imaju nepovezane vizije.
Cijela priča se svodi samo na to ciljano križanje među lozama kako bi se proizveo ultimate križanac koji će moći vidjeti budućnosti i to je poanta benne geserit vještica, da se igraju boga ciljanim evoluiranjem potomaka tih loza a da ne znaju što će uistinu proizvesti. Dapače, cilj im je bio proizvesti žensku s tim moćima no zaje*ala ih je njihova Lady Jessica koja je odlučila roditi sina umjesto kćeri.


No da, ove supermoći na kraju prve epizode su wtf., i kladim se da će se priča razvijati u smjeru da je taj lik isto neki potomak loza ali sa nekim rouge supermoćima koje ne prate originalni kanon

I njegov sin Leto II koji se kasnije spojio sa crvom... Tu su Benne Geserit grdno popusile jer su se nadale imati nekog kojeg mogu kontrolirati a onda se dogodio God Emperor of Dune...

Ustvari Đesika je trebala roditi kćer, koja bi se križala sa Harkonenom, i tako bi obje linije bile ujedinjenje i spašene...
Jedina stvar koja mi je malo too much za eugeničarke, Đesika je kćer baruna Harkonena, pa ne znam kako bi išlo to duplo križanje

Ako te brine incest, Benne Geserit to ne brine. Njima je jedini cilj da krizanjem dodju do Kwisatz Haderach-a. Fora je kako su ostvarili to krizanje sa Barunom koji voli samo deckice I zbog cega se ubrzo nakon toga bolesno ugojio.

Btw, u prvoj epizodi se ne vidi (ili sam opet propustio) da Benne Geserit koristi zabranjenu tehnologiju i zbog cega.
