People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. Da, i kod mene isto ekipa brije na AI zadnjih godinu i pol... Mene bili stavili da smislim za sto bi sve mogli koristiti AI, ja reko - za transkodiranje prastarih custom-made aplikacija, eto za sta... Naravno da je to ispo totalni fail jer govance uopce ne zna napraviti transkodiranje... Njima je pak bilo interesantnije da sloze chatbota za sales i L1 support... Ja mudro prebacio zadatak kolegi koji se bakcao sa ChatGPTjem jos od beta faze i moram priznat da on to jako dobro vodi, a ja se ne petljam, vec proucavam naprednije modele i tehnologije koje bismo jednog dana mogli implementirati (to mi je u opisu posla)...

Inace, i mi smo dost vezani uz IBM... Vidim da ima jos ekipe koja ima posla sa IBMom ovdje... U nasem slucaju, fokus nam je na IBM i te IBM Cloud (tocnije PowerVS)...

Samo ti pazi da ne bi kolega, LLM mag, stavio neki spyware na tvoj laptop...
Pa mudro šuti i polako trenira LLM na tebi, rađa se calypso 2.0. Onda će ga ponudit upravi kao jeftiniju i bolju alternativu
Već mogu zamislit kad ga slavodobitno puste u pogon a calypso 2.0 instalira ramdisk na sve kompove u mreži i ode na pcekspert pisat o tome kako je loš i kako ne zna objasnit jel bolji obrt ili jdoo. Na kraju će kolega ježiti ježa

Davno davno....
Interesantno da onda to nitko normalan nije smatrao "inteligencijom", iako kao i LLM može dati output koji se može interpretirati kao nešto inteligentno. Da se pojavi danas vjerojatno bi stara Eliza odmah dobila saudijsko državljanstvo pa sklopila parsto brakova sa gomilom twitter incela.

Interesantno da onda to nitko normalan nije smatrao "inteligencijom", iako kao i LLM može dati output koji se može interpretirati kao nešto inteligentno.

Ne bi vjerovali, ali malo sam cackao po ChatGPT zadnjih dana, trebala mi je pomoc oko pisanja nekih clanaka par ugovora i jos sam nesto radio usporedbu disk kocnica... Tako da, za te primjene mi je pristojno koristan; nije savrsen i ozbiljno treba provjeriti sve sto izbaci van, ali so far so good...

Nego, nesto drugo mi je palo na pamet... Teoretski, na principu rada LLMova gdje imamo statisticko predvidjanje sljedece rijeci, doslovno bi se mogla napraviti kristalna kugla... Dakle, statisticko predvidjanje buducnosti... No, to bi onda bili nemoguce veliki vektori i vjerojatno bi procesorska snaga koja bi bila potrebna za takvo sto bila velicine svemira... Tako da nis od toga...

Ajme... Nekidan opet koristio malo ChatGPT (jeste primjetili da ga sve cesce koristim)... Imao sam neki glupi problem sa jednim dijelom koda vezan za calendar picker u custom CRMu koji je razvijen valjda 2005... Uglavnom, nisam mogao odabrati datum iza 31.12.2032., a ugovor koji sam trebao sloziti je trazio neki datum u 2033... I sta sad...

Nis, uzeo ja ChatGPT, dao mu liniju koda koja je odgovorna za taj unos datuma i reko - sta sa ovime, zasto me ogranicava na 2032 godinu? Ovaj poceo sve nesto nadugo i nasiroko, naravno sve krivo... Al ajde, idem dalje cackat, onda mi je dao dobar hint - reko pogledaj source kod tog webpagea pa vidi ako unutra poziva neki Javascript za datum... I naravno da je tamo bilo nesto oko datuma... Opet ChatGPT nazvrljo brda i doline, sve krivo i u krivom smjeru... Uzeo ja taj .js fajl, malo proskicao, nasao kako se definira godina u dropdown listi - u principu se uzme trenutna godina pa se ide -15 sto oznacava prvu godinu prikazanu na dropdown listi i onda sa drugom varijablom se odredi 23 godine od te prve pocetne da se prikaze na toj dropdown listi... Long story short - prva godina na dropdown listu u calendar pickeru je bila 2010, zadnja je bila 23 godine od 2010, znaci 2032... To izmijenio iz 23 u 32, tako da mi je sad zadnja godina 2041... Problem solved...

Da sam sluso ChatGPT vjerojatno bih trazio developera za taj prastari softver i placo suhim zlatom...


Poanta price - nemoj slusat slijepo ChatGPT jer stvarno zna otic u krivom smjeru... Toliko krivom da bismo vjerojatno zavrsili na izradi novog CRMa...

A ti se nisi sjetio pogledati u page sourcu kako se zove element pa vidjeti gdje se poziva što se poziva?
Ti shvacas da nemam pojma sto si sad reko?

Da ti odgovorim na pitanje - ne, nije mi to palo na pamet jer moji zadnji dodiri sa programiranjem su bili na faksu pred 25 godina... Nakon toga sam par skripti napisao za neke stvari i to je bilo to... Sa web programiranjem nikad nisam imao doticaja niti zelim imati doticaja...

Jučer/danas tražim prikladan simulator elektroničkih sklopova i fokusirao sam se na Qucs-S, GPL GUI za ngspice. Dokumentacija je dosta raštrkana pošto ima barem dva backenda, dio dokumentacije je zastario a ima i podosta raznih aplikacija sličnog naziva, svašta nešto.

Stoga je pretraživanje problematično. Pokušao sam pronaći istu stvar na razne načine. Na kraju me zanimalo da li ima neki način da se formatira output tako da ljudima bude čitljiviji (npr. iz 0.0003124A u 0.31mA ili 310uA). Zabezeknuo sam se da simulator praktično nema ampermetar/voltmetar ali kako sam nastavio čačkati dalje postajalo je jasno zašto je to tako.

Pošto su moje pretrage bile dosta specifične (ne znam jesam li ja jedini koji ima sve većih problema naći bilo što na internetima) "AI suggestion" se uglavnom nije javljao, ali par puta očito nije mogao odoljeti pa mi je davao sugestije. U tu svrhu je za naredbu koja ispisuje rezultate u log (.meas) izmislio par switcheva koji ne postoje u dokumentaciji a koji rade točno to što meni treba Mislim, cijenim to da pokušava pomoći, ali ovakve stvari su stvarno cringe.
