Odiseja je toliko obimna da mi nije jasno kako on namjerava 'zdrobiti' cijelu knjigu u par sati filma. To je materijal za seriju.

People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. Hajmo se prvo nadati da će biti pravopisno točan.
A hoće li biti vjeran Homeru je jako nebitno.
Uopće nismo sigurni je li Homer postojao i tko je sve to zapisao. S druge strane, zapisi o Trojanskom ratu i nakon njega Odiseji su nastali minimalno 500 godina nakon događaja o kojima pišu tako da sigurno pišu točno. I naravno, treba imati na umu da Grci (Mikenjani) koji su sudjelovali u tim događajima nisu Grci (Dorani) koji su pisali o tim događajima, a još manje imaju veze s današnjom populacijom tamo.
Tako da hoće netko biti crn, bijel ili bilo kakav je apsolutno nebitno jer kao i prije 800 godina prije Krista sve je prepušteno umjetničkoj slobodi. Pa tako i to jesu bili pederi ili ne.

To je bila i moja poanta ima svega i sve moze bit kako oce dok god je u skladu sa nekim zapisima i logicnostima. A ne npr apsurdnost crne Cleopatre.

oh no falio sam jedan od 15 ije i je u tekstu na forumu u temi o filmovima, molim te nemoj me u konc logor poslat.
To je stvar perspektive, zar ne? Tebi ne smeta pravopisna greška na forumu, a isto tako redatelju ne smeta "povijesna" greška u igranom filmu namijenjenom zabavi, ali prvenstveno zaradi, koji se snima o događaju koji se možda dogodio prije cca 3700 godina.
Pa ako mu je nešto netočno ili, ne daj Bože, ne odgovara mojim stavovima onda u zatvor šnjim .

Boli njih kita što je zapisano u Odiseji i koje je boje kože netko bio ili seksualne orijentacije. Ako će danas novce donosit crnici i homoseksualci, bit će ih u filmu. A ti možeš glasati svojim novčanikom i ne gledati film pa im poslati poruku sa se ne slažeš s takvom politikom.

Ko klinac sam imao na kazeti snimljen crtić Odiseja, od Burbanka, u 45minuta su jako dobro to prikazali i dosta događaja obradili, uz malo promijenjen kraj (nema žene, nego si nalazi nekakvu trebicu-princezu koju spašava od Posejdona, and lived happily ever after).

Ovo mi već po glumcima zaudara na trash samo takav; kakav mrtvi Matt Damon !?
Tko će glumit starog psa Argosa, jesu i tu interesnu populaciju pokrili

Tko je spominjao ikojeg čovjeka?

Doduše ako smo već kod toga, ne vjerujem u glorifikaciju i beatifikaciju redatelja, sa svakim novim filmom se netko dokazuje. To što je netko snimio dobre filmove prije 10 il 15 ili xx godina ne garantira unaprijed da će svaki sadašnji izdanak biti remek djelo.
Ovo zasad samom svojom idejom i glumcima se skliže na vrlo nezgodnom terenu, ali kakav god proizvod bio, konzumacija od strane milijuna fanboya neće izostati, a time i zarada.

Odgledao sve filmove H. Pottera...

Mjuza me malo podsjeća na dijelove Labuđeg jezera... Borbe sa štapićima na svjetlosne mačeve... Hogwards ala LOTR...

Je znam u svakom filmu možemo nekaj naći iz drugih filmova...

Pojma nemam kako sam na ovo nabasao, ali film je, bez obzira na ocjenu, stvarno OK. Ima tragove niske produkcijske vrijednosti i neke stvari su malo van pameti, ali generalno je film znatno bolji od naznačene ocjene.

They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.

S obzirom na godinu proizvodnje i budžet efekti su korektni. Jedino mi se kraj čini zbrda zdola, kao da su ostali bez love pa zbrzali da to privedu nekako kraju.
