Jbte koliko će biti plakanja zbog zaključanih podataka kod ljudi koji nisu previše informatički pismeni da bi to znali. Oni budu samo poklikali instalaciju ili će im to napraviti u dućanu kada kupe komp s windowsima. I kao da budu oni zapamtili da je gore bitlocker aktiviran i kao da oni znaju kaj je to.

Malo je MS si dao previše oduška da zaštiti podatke ali ne računa da nisu svi ljudi toliko informatički pismeni a i vjerojatno nemaju nekoga da im objasni.

Pa ovisnost o tim AI điđama-miđama.
Onda će fino počet naplaćivat "napredne" funkcije.
Ja bih osobno platio za kompetentnog "virtualnog asistenta".

Maloprije me kolega zvao, veli da su Windowsi kriptirali disk Bitlockerom, naravno, kolegica ima lokalni account... I sad dovidjorno, nikako ne moze do svojih slika... :/ Lost forever, jer Bitlocker keya nema...

Stvarno, koja budala u MSu je dosla na ideju da se svima kriptiraju diskovi Bitlockerom?

Ja sam siguran da je bio neki slajd pun samohvale na prezentaciju MS kada je ova genijalna ideja ugledala svjetlo dana. Ipak je najsigurnije da nitko nema pristupa podacima. Na kraju krajeva, ne može se korisnicima vjerovati da će postupati na siguran način sa svojim podacima.

Kad su ljudi kometirali zasto updatovi imaju toliko bugova, Microsoft je odgovorio, vise posla za informaticare. To je bilo negdje 2015 kad su zakljucili da im je kontrola kvalitete suvisna.

At the surface level, I don’t think this corner case of systematically lowering the security of users who opt out of using Microsoft accounts was intentional. I think for many normal users having a default that data is not encrypted unless the key is backed up is a reasonable trade-off to avoid catastrophic data loss. Yet, I wonder: why didn’t the setup flow just ask me if I wanted to be responsible for backing up my key myself, or if I wanted to back it up with Microsoft? Apple does!
It’s the obvious answer to that question that pushes me towards my personal conclusion that at a deeper level this outcome was the inevitable product of an earlier deceit and coercion. Microsoft wants you to use use a Microsoft account. They think it makes you more likely to consume Microsoft services. So, they choose not to ask what you want, and instead push you along the path to what they want.

The attack begins when a user asks M365 Copilot to summarize a maliciously crafted Excel spreadsheet. Hidden instructions, embedded in white text across multiple sheets, use progressive task modification and nested commands to hijack the AI’s behavior.

These indirect prompts override the summarization task, directing Copilot to invoke its search_enterprise_emails tool to retrieve recent corporate emails. The fetched content is then hex-encoded and fragmented into short lines to bypass Mermaid’s character limits.
