Dakle, ako je krajnja rezolucija 1440p, onda je na quality rezolucija renderiranja 720p? A na performance 360p?

People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. nVidia finally admitted in the official forums that gamers may have difficulty finding stock for the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, which compete with the best graphics cards. “We expect significant demand for the GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 and believe stock-outs may happen,” Tim@nVidia posted in nVidia’s forums. “Nvidia & our partners are shipping more stock to retail every day to help get GPUs into the hands of gamers.”

PC retailers have been saying that the RTX 5090 supply is in dire straits. One UK reseller says inventory is below 10 units—a small number for such a powerful GPU that will likely face increased demand for its performance, especially in AI applications. We’ve even seen scalpers selling “rights” to the flagship GPU, offering it at a markup of three times the MSRP. We already expected this with the RTX 5090, primarily as smaller companies working with AI tech are acquiring it for training their LLMs.

So, if you want to be among the first to get an RTX 5090 or RTX 5080, you should line up at your nearest major PC retailer as soon as (or even before) it opens tomorrow, or else you might come home empty-handed, that is if it has a stock of these GPUs in the first place. Also, you should avoid buying GPUs from a scalper—it’s not worth paying over the MSRP to get your hands on a new GPU, especially if you’re just using it for games.

With hours still left before we publish our roundup with more sources, the first review featuring nVidia’s own Founders Edition RTX 5080 card was accidentally released. It looks like Igor’sLAB has published a review of the RTX 5080 ahead of the official embargo and it was picked up by Redditors. The key detail everyone wants to know: the card is, on average, 8.3% faster than the RTX 4080 SUPER across 11 games. This measurement was taken at 1440p resolution without ray tracing or super resolution applied, raw performance data that many gamers prefer. The average was calculated from games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Starfield, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, F1 2024, The Talos Principle 2, The Last of Us, Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, Black Myth: Wukong, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Ne samo da je žalosno što se tiče performansi, nego i ako su potrošnju smanjili korištenjem AI-a što su reklamirali, onda je bolje ne reklamirati korištenje AI-a uopće...

Danas u 15:00h po našem vremenu, ali sudeći po ovome, izgleda da bude RTX 5090 jedina stvarno nova/bolja kartica, sve ispod toga ni vrit ni mimo.

Pa nije se trebalo cekat recenzije za znat da je to cca. 10%. Nema apsolutno nikakve potrebe upgradeat sa 4xxx serije, najbolja stvar je i onako dosla besplatno za sve RTX kartice...

Da, otkad su procurile one specifikacije za koje se ispostavilo da su točne, sve ispod RTX 5090 izgleda tužno, a nVidia od predobrog GTX 1080 Ti modela, taj xx80 segment razvodnjava sve više i više. Uvijek smo se zajebavali da budu na kraju složili mobilni xx50 čip i prodali ga kao high-end xx80 ili xx90 model, a na kraju tak ispada, malo im fali da kroz PR i marketing uvjere kupce kak je to super - za nVidiju.

RTX 5080 je na papiru duplo slabija od RTX 5090 koja je "samo" 20% do 30% bolja od RTX 4090, tak da bi RTX 5080 lako mogla ispasti u rangu sa RTX 4080 modelima, tj. nikakav napredak. Slična stvar za još slabije RTX 5070 i 5070 Ti modele. Nažalost, RTX 5090 je najbolje od cijele Blackwell desktop serije.

Cijene za RTX 5080, 5070 Ti i 5070 znamo, a bome ni performanse nisu prevelika tajna, pošto je RTX 5090 ispala 20% do 30% bolja od RTX 4090, dok je RTX 5080 duplo slabija i prema ovome kaj se već može naći na netu, RTX 5080 bude malo bolja od RTX 4080 modela. I tu je klasični Radeon zajeb, jer su oni po svemu sudeći u svojoj mudrosti htjeli staviti cijenu za RX 9070 XT 100$ ispod RTX 5080, jer bi sasvim moguće mogla ispasti u rangu RTX 4080, tj. malo slabija od RTX 5080, samo kaj nitko ne bude dal te nofce za Radeon karticu, neovisno o performansama, tak da sad izvode ovo kaj izvode.

Dok mi netko ne kaže drugačije, smatrat ću da je ovo 4080 s novom memorijom. U odnosu na nju razlika se poduplava na većim rezama (s 6 na 12%), a to je znak većeg bandwidtha. To je to. Ostaje samo beskorisni MFG kao poboljšanje

Doduše i učinkovitost je dobra u igrama.

Nadam se da će novi driveri poboljšati sliku jer u mnogim igrama 5080 poprilično zaostaje za 4090. Izgleda da je najbolje ugrabit 4090 po sličnoj cijeni ako se može naći i zaključiti kupovinu.

Ovoj igri se najviše veselim s novom grafom, i onda vidim da se na 1440p rezi drži oko 60 fpsa s uključenim DLSS-om , premalo, premalo za tu cijenu i rezoluciju. RT je i dalje prevelik zalogaj za grafičke.

Nadam se da će novi driveri poboljšati sliku jer u mnogim igrama 5080 poprilično zaostaje za 4090. Izgleda da je najbolje ugrabit 4090 po sličnoj cijeni ako se može naći i zaključiti kupovinu.
Nece poboljsati sliku jer je dovoljno pogledat specifikacije te 2 kartice za znati da 5080 nikako ne moze ne zaostajati za 4090.

I onda AMD umjesto da pokusa biti konkurencija, jer kazu da je to dobro za nas korisnike, oni zamisle skroz sulude cijene i uz to odluce ne omogucit FSR4 na 7xxx seriji....

Nisu razočarali, ovo je očekivano.

Hebote rtx 5080 zajeb teski... bitno da su laprdali kak ce 5070 nadjebat 4090 (naravno sitnim slovima su natandrkali da se odnosi na one multigej đen frejmove). Ispada da 5070 nece bit jaca ni od 4070ti super kak je krenulo

Naravno da nece, pa specifikacije su poznate od davno...

Ono sta bi bilo normalno s obzirom na trzisnu poziciju je da je nvidija omogucila transformer model DLSS-a samo na novim 5xxx karticama a da je AMD omogucio FSR4 na 7xxx seriji. Ovo je superhik situacija, AMD se ponasa ko da dominiraju trzistem.

Sada čekam crvene i njihov vrhunski marketing tim da zaseru svjetski.
Usrali su se već, jer su kartice mogli normalno izbaciti još prošli tjedan s cijenama u rangu 500€ i FSR 4 podrškom kak spada, jer nVidia nema ništa osim RTX 5090.

Na svu sreću Frank Azor je spasil cijelu Radeon diviziju, već po ko zna koji put zaredom.

Meni je smisno da je netko tu na forumu (od koga bi ocekiva da zna usporedit 2 broja) je i ocekiva da ce 5070 biti bolja od 4090.

Bila je toliko lijepa da sam poželio da nikad ne otvori usta. A onda mi je nekako objasnila da je nijema. Oženio sam ju Las Vegasu, tjedan dana kasnije. I sad napokon živim sa ženom koju razumijem.

E da, zab napomenut da su i za 5080 izgleda napravili identičan kuler koji je odličan za nju, razlika je samo da se ovdje koristi pasta umjesto tekućeg metala. FE bi mi npr taman stala u kućište jer je izgleda ravno 30cm.
