PS5 ima 16GB sherovanog rama. Ovo cudo ima 16 + 8. Ako odrade na optimizaciji, mogli bi dobiti fine performanse. Sve je sad do drivera samo me ljuti sto kazu da je 6x jace od steam decka. Znaci RDR2 bi nekom logikom trebao biti 4K 60FPS lock. A taj film necemo gledat.

hl3 na 8gb vrama, baš veselo iskustvo
Heavy Metal Steve je u međuvremenu potvrdil da sve kaj su pokazali radi bez problema na tom hardveru, isto tak su ljudi iz Valvea negirali bilo kakva pitanja za Half-Life 3, u smislu da nemaju ništa reći na tu temu, neovisno o ovome kaj trenutno kruži po netu. Tak jasno da ne budu priznali da li imaju ili nemaju išta u planu i razvoju. Na stranu hardver (koji zapravo uopće nije loš) u toj Steam Machine kutijici, SteamOS je ono kaj bude sve kojima je već pun kufer Windows OS-a, prebacilo na Linux do te mjere da ih uopće ne zanima kaj se vrti u pozadini, jer sve radi, pokrenu igru i ne razmišljaju o nekoj zakrpi koja bude sjebala sve oko sebe, dok ih One Drive maltretira s raznim eJaJ implementacijama. Xbox ROG pizdarija na kraju radi bolje s Linuxom, dok Microsoft dan-danas nema ništa konkretno za Steam Deck konkurenciju, tak da bude Steam Machine dodatno pojačal odmak od svega kaj se na Windows platformi sustavno pogoršava.

Generalno gledano, ljudi koji su navikli pokretati igre na "kutijicama" niti znaju niti ih zaboli uvo ta to kako se zove ili kako radi pozadinski operativni sustav.

Da i to je ono kaj bude ova Steam rješenja dodatno populariziralo, a Microsoft i dalje ne bude kužil zbog čega je to (za njih) problem.

Valve je dobro radio i zaslužuju dobre rezultate. U ova vremena malo je tech kompanija za koje mrtav hladan mogu isto kazati.

99% sam siguran da će biti nesplativo...eventualno uz ovaj rast RAM memorije možda bude OK. Takvu PC konzolu imam zadnjih dvadeset godina, uvijek je komp spojen na TV.
8 gb vrama je smijeh, ne vidim kak je to drugačije od trenutnih 8gb kartice koje su pokopane od strane svih recenzenata i praktički se ne kupuju ili slabo kupuju...sa razlogom.

Ako bude 500 eura, ajd OK.

Mogli su nutra za dobru mjeru staviti Strix Halo APU sa 128GB RAM-a, od čega 8060S iGPU može iskoristiti 96GB i opet bi bilo neisplativo, jer to nije RTX 5090 4K@144Hz nivo gaminga i tome slične pizdarije kakve bi se mogle čuti diljem Interneta. Hardver je tu IMHO lagano i nebitan, jer se puno lošije godinama servira po raznim ručnim i stolnim konzolama, pa se ipak kupuje i koristi, a Steam Deck je najbolji primjer di ima smetje hardver u usporedbi s ostalim handheld konzolama, a najpopularniji je od svih. SteamOS je u ovom slučaju (naj)bitniji dio priče da ljudi što ljepše odjebu Microsoft platforme, a AMD za Steam Machine lako kasnije složi kaj god Valve želi, jer nofci za obje firme nisu problem.

Steam Machine bu zanimljiv ako nebude preko 400-450 evri .


Jer vec je izvuceno da je cpu R5 8540u sa disablanim iGpu i da je grafa Rx7600 Mobile s power limitom dignutim s 75w na 110w ...


Po meni super box za lagani 1440p gaming uz FSR na Q settingu .


S tim da su ram i ssd upgradable


Sve ce ovisi o cijeni , ali za pod televizor vise nego ok ...Malo bolji MiniPC .


Najblize Steam Machinu je Minisforum x99 , ali je nesto slabiji (R9 6900h i rx6600m) za 500 evri ...

Rekli su da nece biti u rangu konzola (700-750€) jer iste gube na prodaji a zaradjuju na igrama. Takmice se sa gaming racunarima. Znaci nema šanse da ovo bude ispod 1000€. Na 11:08:

~1.000€ za cijeli komplet (kutijica, VR headset koji pak ima svoj dedicirani SteamOS i kontroler) je realnije.

VR je tu za Half-Life: Alyx i sl. odlične naslove, a obzirom da je taj headset sam po sebi u stanju (od)vrtjeti igre, prodali budu sve kaj su u stanju isporučiti.

Pa nije svaki proizvod za svakog...

Budući da cijena nije poznata, teško je raspravljati koliko će biti isplativo.
Ali poprilično je jasno da je to proizvod za casual gamere, kao što je i Deck koji, očito, ima super rezultate jer je doveo do ovoga.

Prvi mačići se u vodu bacaju pa tako i svi ovi pozitivni dojmovi šake influencera koji su bili pozvani isprobati hardware. Strpljen, spašen.

meni je zanimljiv jer je sff, ali je ipak preslabo za moje potrebe

imam steam deck za igranje na putu, i pc koji je spojen na monitor i tv

ovaj bi mogao staviti na drugi tv, ali ipak je to slabasno za 4k igranje

ali drago mi je da ce raditi na steamOS da se mozda i maknem s win jednog dana na PCu

IMHO Steam Machine bude igre nativno vrtjel na 1080p i onda uz FSR 4 ide upscaling na 4K@60, a za većinu kojoj je ovo i namijenjeno, to bude čisto vredu.

Da je cijena oko 700€, ne bi govorili da se ne mogu takmiciti sa cijenom konzola. A za 1000€ Steam Machine + VR. Zar Index VR nije 1000€ sa bazama?

Druga stvar, kako sam rekao da me ljuti sto govore da je 6x jaca konzola od Setam Deck konzole. Kako ce Steam Machine kostati manje nego Deck?

Steam Deck ima slabašni APU baziran na Zen 2 CPU i RDNA 2 iGPU, tak da ovo kaj su složili za Steam Machine je itekak jače. Kaj se cijene tiče, posebice ono kaj Linus priča, uopće ne doživljavam ozbiljno. SteamOS je ono kaj bude prodalo taj hardver, neovisno o cijeni, isto kak se Steam Deck rasprodal, a hardver mu realno nije ama baš ništa vrijedno spomena.
