YouTube blocked: For reasons too complicated to summarize (and resulting in much finger-pointing) FVD Downloader won't download YouTube videos. Workarounds solve the technical issues but not the legal ones.
Bottom Line

We really like FVD Downloader, but its inability to download YouTube videos is a huge issue and likely a show-stopper for many users. That's a shame because it works so well with most other sites.
