I have some new information that might help and solve the problem....
I just disable automatic screen brightness on phone and after that camera work fine in dark environment!
Now I can switch back and forth between the front and back camera in dark without freezing!
If I enable automatic brightness camera freezes... I will tested more in few next day to sea how it work..
Be aware that this solution only works with latest MiUI8 Global Beta 6.8.18 rom!
Please disable automatic brightness on phone and test your devices with this rom and let us know if it helps..
