Arrow AMD FX "Bobcat/Llano/Bulldozer/Piledriver" Info Thread

Informacije, testiranja i recenzije: Bobcat, Llano i Bulldozer

Citiraj:
Bobcat (single & dual-core):
Multiple devices, including notebooks ultrathins, HD netbooks and small form factor desktops. Sub-one watt capable x86 CPU core that first comes to market in the Ontario and Zacate Accelerated Processing Units (APU) for mainstream, ultrathin, value, and netbook form factors as well as small form factor desktop solutions. Bobcat is designed to be an extremely small, highly flexible, out-of-order execution x86 core that easily can be scaled up and combined with other IP in SoC configurations. The low-end of the market will continue to be served E-series accelerated processing units with one or two cores and a basic Radeon HD 6000-class graphics endine code-named Zacate under AMD Vision sticker.
Zacate - AMD E Series APUs (18W)
  • AMD E-240 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics (single-core CPU @ 1.5GHz & GPU @ 500MHz)

  • AMD E-300 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics (dual-core CPU @ 1.3GHz & GPU @ 488MHz)

  • AMD E-350 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics (dual-core CPU @ 1.6GHz & GPU @ 500MHz)

  • AMD E-450 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics (dual-core CPU @ 1.65GHz & GPU @ 600MHz)
Ontario - AMD C Series APUs (9W)
  • AMD C-30 with AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics (single-core CPU @ 1.2GHz & GPU @ 280MHz)

  • AMD C-50 with AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics (dual-core CPU @ 1.0GHz & GPU @ 280MHz)

  • AMD C-60 with AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics (dual-core CPU @ 1.33GHz & GPU @ 400MHz)
Zacate - AMD Z Series APUs (~6W)
  • AMD Z-01 with AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics (dual-core CPU @ 1.0GHz & GPU @ 276MHz)

Llano (dual & quad-core):
Llano is a 32nm APU including up to four x86 cores and a DirectX 11-capable GPU, primarily intended for performance and mainstream notebooks and mainstream desktops. Llano is engineered to deliver impressive visual computing experiences, outstanding performance with low power and long battery life. Llano will use upgraded Stars CPU cores and a Redwood-class GPU. It will be manufactured by GlobalFoundries on their 32nm SOI process and target the same market as the existing Athlon II line. Like Athlon II, it will be available in dual, triple, and quad-core variants. Llano will have an integrated PCIe 2.0 controller, a dual channel DDR3-1600 memory controller and 1MB L2 cache per core (no L3 cache). The accelerated processing units known as Llano will become A-series processors. Such chips will power AMD Vision Ultimate and AMD Vision Premium platforms.
Dual-core Llano APUs
  • E2-3250 with AMD Radeon HD 6370 GPU

  • A4-3350 with AMD Radeon HD 6410 GPU

  • A4-3360 with AMD Radeon HD 6410 GPU
Quad-core Llano APUs
  • A6-3450 with AMD Radeon HD 6530 GPU

  • A6-3450P with AMD Radeon HD 6530 GPU

  • A6-3460 with AMD Radeon HD 6530 GPU

  • A6-3460P with AMD Radeon HD 6530 GPU

  • A8-3550 with AMD Radeon HD 6550 GPU

  • A8-3550P with AMD Radeon HD 6550 GPU

  • A8-3560 with AMD Radeon HD 6550 GPU

  • A8-3560P with AMD Radeon HD 6550 GPU

Bulldozer (quad, hexa & octo-core):
Multi-threaded high-performance x86 CPU core contained in the Zambezi processor for client PCs and Interlagos and Valencia processors for servers. Bulldozer-based CPUs will be based on GlobalFoundries' advanced 32nm SOI process technology and utilize a new approach to multithreaded computer performance. The code-named Zambezi processors based on Bulldozer micro-architecture with four, six or eight cores will belong to FX-series and will be sold under AMD Vision Black and AMD Vision Ultimate labels.
Zambezi CPUs
  • FX-4100 (quad-core CPU)

  • FX-4110 (quad-core CPU)

  • FX-6100 (hexa-core CPU)

  • FX-6110 (hexa-core CPU)

  • FX-8100 (octo-core CPU)

  • FX-8110 (octo-core CPU)

  • FX-8130P (octo-core CPU)

  • FX-8150 (octo-core CPU)
There will be three versions of AMD 9-series North Bridges that will be slightly different from each other:
  • AMD 990FX - supports two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (configurable as four PCIe 2.0 x16), six PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, one PCIe 2.0 x4 slot, to be paired with SB950 I/O controller
  • AMD 990X - supports one PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (configurable as two PCIe 2.0 x8), six PCIe 2.0 x1 slots
  • AMD 970 - supports one PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, to be paired with SB950 and SB920 I/O controllers
AMD 9-series south bridge chips will support the following:
  • AMD SB950 - four PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, 14 USB 2.0 controllers, PCI bus, six Serial ATA-600 connectors with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 support
  • AMD SB920 - two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, 14 USB 2.0 controllers, PCI bus, six Serial ATA-600 connectors with RAID 0, 1, 10 support
