Citiraj:
As per the latest monthly statistics from Mindfactory, around 18,000 AMD Ryzen CPUs were sold which amount to 81% of the total CPUs sold by the German retailer. Only 19% or less than 5000 Intel CPUs sold in the previous month which is the lowest number in the last two years since AMD introduced Ryzen.
Citiraj:
This also resulted in higher revenue than the previous month. AMD CPUs accounted for 75% of the revenue which is around 4,000,000 Euros while Intel CPU accounted for 25% of the revenue which is less than 1,500,000 Euros. Here, you could see that despite a small percentage of Ryzen 9 3900X sales, the processor accounted for just as much revenue share as the Ryzen 5 3600 which sold in higher quantities. This is due to the higher price of the Ryzen 9 3900X and the same can be said for Intel’s higher revenue coming in from the flagship Core i9-9900K and the Core i7-9700K processor which retail for $350 US+.
