Speculation around several forums suggest a few ideas:

1) The boards were launched in 2017 with many still in stock at retailers until mid 2018, so almost all warranty obligations have now expired, should updates go wrong. (Although boardmakers have now had plenty of time to test and develop the BIOS's.)

2) There's is good availability of Ryzen 5000 series CPU's now, with some slipping below MSRP. This could create new demand and shore up prices.

3) This could detract owners of first gen boards from considering an Intel Alderlake upgrade. It's good all round PR for both AMD and Board partners that continue support and will be fresh in people's minds when AM5 is launched.

Sumnjam da im AMD nije dao blagoslov i sumnjam da AL ima svoje prste u ovom razvoju događaja.
Navodno do kraja mjeseca budu stigli novi biosi.

Svi pričaju o rezanju cijena.
A Gigabyte fino izbacio novi bios s Zen 3 podrškom za 300/400 seriju matičnih.
