LOL - Google ads su zakon

Inaće kad mi ponestane ISK-a ( a popušim barem 1 BC dnevno ) - samo prodam GTC od 30 dana. 160 mil ISK u pađe, a 100% legalno i podržano od CCP-a.

Mrak ^^

9-98 Battle Report, Tuesday May 15th
Primer: This battle was long as hell, one of the longest I've ever been in.. but there was very little change throughout the battle, so the BR won't take you 2 hours to read Razz

It started like every other epic event starts, with me logging onto IRC and asking the terrible question "Need another dread?". It was already 18:00 GMT or so when I got on, and by then, a reported 35 capitals from RA/AAA were staged in 46DP (Next to 9-9Cool heavy on dreads and with one Titan and one Mothership. In JV1V, a GoonSwarm capital gang of around 20 was prepping itself. BoB had around 27 Dreadnaughts, 4 Motherships, 3 Titans and a half dozen Carriers.

The target, as it turned out, was an RA POS belonging to UAI that was completely irrelevant to the sovereignty war we were fighting with GoonSwarm. I could tell that most people were expecting the op to be called off, or if not, that we would attempt some form of trickery to gank a few of their capitals then escape.

Eventually Molle didn't want to wait any further even though we had a half dozen capitals coming down from AZN to JO-, and asked the following on teamspeak:

"Evening ladies."
"We have a small problem.."
"We have about 30 dreads, and the hostiles have about 50 dreads."
"So, who wants to lose a dread?"

And in typical BoB fashion, a chorus of "Me!" erupted on voice coms with Dianabolic following with:

"Right, all of you flying corp dreads can just shut the fuck up"

And that was it, the fleet was committed to this battle, win or lose. Those on command channels stopped debating the risks and strategies and began organizing cynos and warp in points. The whole capital fleet aligned itself to planet 10 and warped to a loading spot 350km from the RA tower. Minutes later, we warped to the tower and entered siege. The tower went down extremely fast, and by the time the hostiles began cynoing in, it was already dead. The hostile capital fleet began emergency warping all over, and bouncing off the POS shield. Our dreads came out of siege and we had the option of cynoing them out, or warping them out. We refused, and aligned ourselves for their POS as they aligned themselves for ours. In total, the BoB capitals were out of siege for approximately five minutes. Eventually 75 enemy capitals with around 50 of those being Dreadnaughts (give or take a few) warped to us, and we entered siege.

The hostile capital fleet came right on top of us, or into the middle of us and bounced a few (myself included). Molle called the first two targets that loaded, then TWD took over for the next 15-20 minutes. Initially as the fight began, Carriers were given the order to launch tech 1 drones only. Taking the bait, ET tried to use his Aurora Ominae early in the fight but missed and activated it at the Goon POS (as we later found out). Then, enemy Carriers launched a sea of fighters. Our cyno went up and after several minutes of lag, the Judgement went off, annihilating them. Fleet was called in, our own Carriers began launching actual fighters. Hostile fleets began pouring in, and we had two fleet battles happening simultaneously.. one between the battleship and support groups, the other between capitals. Because of everyone being mashed together in one spot, we called by name, teamspeak for capitals and IRC for battleships (yes, fucking IRC).

TWD eventually crashed and emergency warped out, I took over for the next 20-30 min or so. In the middle of this, a dozen capitals from the late comers and stragglers organized in 5P, trying to get themselves into the fight to reinforce us. Due to having spent our pre-positioned cyno pilots, and the lag involved, pilots couldn't warp to the motherships to grab a new ship. We never got them into the main fight at all as a result. Lag made the battle extremely slow, sometimes taking 5 minutes just to get enough guns on an enemy dread to break its tank, but overall the game was still playable and target after target died.

Towards the end of my target calling, a solid hour had gone by since we first entered siege and the majority of both fleets were starting to run out of gas. Hostile capitals trickled out via cyno one by one. Knowing that if ours jumped as well to 5P for refuel they'd never get back in. Dreadnaughts that came out of siege were ordered to warp to 5-1 friendly tower and refuel from backup strontium aboard the Motherships. I was one of them, and made it out fine but never loaded the friendly POS to refuel, Blockoindi took over from me and called for the remainder of the battle. Capital numbers on both sides were dropping fast, mostly cynoing and warping out. Towards the end the hostiles had 15 dreadnaughts on the field, we had 5. They primaried DimensionZ, who was promptly neutralized out of cap by their Carriers. Because of their pitiful damage out of siege and lack of fighters, our Carriers were able to keep him alive with remote reps and they were unable to score any more capital kills after this.

A second hostile Cyno went up for ET's Doomsday which had reset itself in the course of this fight. Lag hit him once again, and Carriers were able to retract most of their fighters. In short, he doomsdayed more Goons than anything as we only lost 7 bs and 6 support out of over 150. On command channels we knew he would do this as a saving move to remove our tacklers and egress their capitals. Our fleet was able to come back right away, and pin most of them down, with one hostile carrier being held at planet 1 for some 15 minutes by Isabele Sweet.

At this point the lag began clearing up, the refueled dreads from friendly POS made it back and some in 5P were able to load 10-1 towards the end. Another 8 hostile capitals were downed after the second Doomsday. Their bs and support gang regrouped and came back, but ended up being taken out by our battleships, which then focused back to dealing damage on the dreadnaughts.

The next hour was spent on cleanup, clearing hundreds and hundreds of wrecks from the 10-1 moon, killing anyone that came back online, taking the dreads back to refuel. At one point Molle threatened to Doomsday anyone found killing Goons at the station, because we were fighting against the clock and needed everyone to help loot. By the time ET's DD cycled a third time, we were all but done. A friendly tower was placed in 10-1 to catch hostiles that logged off.

Final tally for the day was:

737 kills of which there were..
79 Battleships
24 Dreadnaughts
5 Carriers

89 losses of which there were..
13 Battleships
14 Dreadnaughts

Local peaked at 450.

We had several opportunities to disengage, before and after the enemy POS was killed and didn't. Our capitals were outnumbered by a solid 50%, and we came out with a 29:14 or 2:1 ratio. We held the field, and made away with billions in loot. Numbers might shift a bit over the next few days, but for the most part that is the final score.

Those that died are simply a statistic, as you would expect to lose a few battleships in any normal fleet battle. Personally speaking, which I shouldn't do in these reports, the only thing I can find to nitpick about our achievement was that we should of planned more cynos to bring our reinforcements in sooner. Thats about it.

Good game to all involved, definitely one of the best and longest battles ever seen this year.

PS: More dreads!
