There will be a massive price cut scheduled for late April. On the 22nd Intel plans to cut Core 2 Duo E6700 price from current $530 to $316.
The Core 2 duo E6600 clocked at 2.4 GHz will drop from $316 to $224. E6420 and E6400 both clocked at 2.13 GHz drop from $224 to $183. E6420 is a new CPU and will have 4MB of cache while 6400 remains at 2 MB only.
