Regah se samo da dodam.
Isti problem imam i ja sa ASUSicom i kako sam iscupao iz njihovog foruma jednostavno je do southbridgea.
Dear Friend,
Thank you for contacting ASUS Customer Service.
My name is ZYC. I would be assisting you today.
Sorry, due to chipset limitation,
when you add a PCI AUDIO card to a board which use VIA VT8237 southbridge controller,
the built in AC97 audio will be disabled automaticly.
It is a chip limitation without way to fix.
Ali je neki lik rjesenje problema opisao ovako pa se jos mucim.
I found a working solution:
Download WPCREDIT from:
http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002.../download.html
Open the ISA Bridge, Select offset 50, change the 6th bit to "0". Save this in a file.
Search voor plug and play hardware .. et voilá .... there is your onboard soundcard.
Make sure you system is stable and use WPCRSET (I found it via google: wpcrs120.exe, but there could be a more recent version around, google some more for its use).
WPCRSET should be used to load the file with register settings on boot time (haven't tested this yet)
