This is possibly the quietest drive I've ever owned. I've yet to hear any clattering during seek, and it stayed silent throughout the benchmarks.
I have an nForce4 controller, and with it, I got about 235 MB/sec burst and 79.6 MB/s transfer speeds =)
I also tested with HD Tach, and it reported an average of 67 MB/sec and the graph exceeded 80 MB/sec in a few spots at the beginning.
