A Chinese group of hardware enthusiasts found out that faulty SSDs could be running a preview version of the firmware. At least it is possible to replicate the SSD failure with such firmware version. A Taiwanese electronics company, Pishon, managed to reproduce the bug. But consumer-available devices come with a newer and bug free firmware version, so they are not affect. It was not a bug in Windows 11.
