Hard drives from the Seagate (1 - 2) Exos series are affected, including mostly models with 16 TB. But there are also reports on some 12 TB drives and occasionally models with 4, 10 and 18 TB storage capacity. Apparently not only models made from Seagates Exos family are involved. Now there are increasingly references to fraud with used Ironwolf HDDs for NAS. As with the Exos models, the SMART parameters are said to be deleted to disguise the operating hours.
