This report marks the first known instance of such a problem with the newly released CPU, suggesting that the issue may not be widespread. The shared photographs could provide important clues about the cause of the malfunction. Initial observations suggest that physical damage to the AM5 socket might prevent the CPU from being properly seated, potentially causing the malfunction.

This idea is currently a hypothesis proposed by several community members, and the CPU owner has acknowledged that the damage could result from user error or a defect in the hardware.
