"I am dealing with this issue on a 77" G3. I just got it yesterday. I own a C1 and compared scenes in the same lighting, and my G3 will not get bright with Dolby Vision on, like my C1 will. It is not a panel issue, as the menu is absurdly bright. It is almost as if the tv is dimming is the picture (like when you pull menu up) but when you make the menu go away, the picture never properly brightens back up. All my settings are correct, energy / AI off, etc. and I have factory reset it as well. I do not know what to do. I am assuming it is a software update thing because the thing looks great in everything else and gets ridiculously bright otherwise."
