All MG Series HDDs are part of our enterprise series.
For these enterprise drives we do offer a direct warranty processing for direct Toshiba OEM customers.
If such a hard drive has not been purchased directly through a Toshiba contact, the intermediary seller is responsible for handling the warranty as well as available warranty times.
The latter will then return the affected product via their own process.
Nonetheless, since last year we can offer, for some selected models, a direct warranty processing.
If you enter the serial number of a defective drive into our service portal, you can check if a drive is applicable for a direct 5-year warranty processing.
