Bome je ovaj novi Dell G2724D odličan po Rtingsu.
Sve što nije valjalo na S2721 su popravili, kontrast mu je 1300-1400:1 što je odlično za IPS, nema više titranja osvjetljenja, jedini minus je lažni HDMI 2.1(2.0 je) i nema 1 OD mod za sve hercaže.

Po meni, apsolutni best buy trenutno za mid-range 27 VRR 1440p.

EDIT: Eh da, mana mu je i sporo prebacivanje rezolucija, korisnici kažu da kada npr ALT-Tabaju iz igre i slično, treba mu dugo da pokaže sliku.

I just received a unit this morning and after some quick testing, the panel is nowhere near the posted results in terms of brightness and contrast.

For instance, in sRGB mode, the review mentions a luminance of 435 cd/m˛ with the brightness turned up to 100%. When measuring my unit with SpyderXPro (values differ a little when doing it with DisplayCal), I get a disappointing luminance of only 328 cd/m˛ at roughly the same white-point 6900k. As a result, contrast in this mode was significantly reduced at 890:1, which is rather disappointing.

Even under the best circumstances, in uncalibrated Custom Color mode with maximum channel gain, the panel only reaches 371 cd/m˛, with a white-point at 6100k. Contrast in this mode is at the standard 1000:1 ratio, so way below what the review unit had.

Values are even slightly worse in Standard mode, where 100% brightness net me only 328 cd/m˛ and a contrast of 880:1.

The panel tracks the 2.2 gamma curve well across the whole luminance range in all modes I measured. Ergonomics, controls and color space coverage are all as expected and since I lack the gear to measure them, I can’t speak to reaction times. Backlight bleed is minimal, which is a plus.

All of this leads me to the conclusion that Dell puts a panel in thie monitor that differs wildly in terms of brightness/contrast or, again, they build the monitor using different panels, potentially from different manufacturers.

I’m gonna have a more detailed look when I have more time and I’ll also raise an issue with Dell support.
