Nadovezali su se na CFTC tužbu, mada sve to traje već jedno dulje vrijeme, tako da ništa čudno, a po svemu sudeći, Binance posluje na sličnom principu kao i FTX, Celsius, Voyager, Genesis, 3AC, Terra/LUNA i sl. "sigurna" kripto ulaganja.

Obzirom na slijed događaja, Binance je sljedeći u nizu, pa je samo pitanje vremena kad budemo čitali vijesti o njihovom ("iznenadnom" 1 - 2) propadanju, bankrotu, nestalom CEO-u i sl. veselicama.

Bank records and company messages have revealed that Binance US relied on Binance to process payments and cover payroll, in complete contradiction to the firm’s insistence that it operated independently. Now-defunct Silvergate Bank authorized Binance exec Guangying Chen to move funds held in Binance US accounts in 2019 and 2020, bank records revealed. Employee in Chen’s team had access to one Binance US Silvergate account, which transferred over $400 million to Merit Peak, a trading firm controlled by CZ, back in 2021.

Binance commingled customer and corporate funds in 2020 and 2021 in accounts held at Silvergate Bank. Binance corporate funds were directed to an account where users were instructed to “deposit” funds in order to purchase BUSD. Binance operated several accounts at Silvergate Bank. One that was under the name of Binance Holdings, a Binance entity organized out of the Cayman Islands, was primarily used to hold corporate funds. Another account for Key Vision Development, which was controlled by Binance chief Changpeng Zhao (CZ), was used to accept deposits from non-US customers.

Binance has previously admitted that it commingled backing for Binance peg tokens, including BUSD, reportedly with customer funds in various wallets, referring to it at the time as “historical operations oversights” that were in the process of being corrected.
