Već sam pisao o ovome; imate PC gaming Wiki za te stare igre i tamo će u 99% slučajeva biti navedeno što sve treba izmajmunirati da bi radilo kako treba.

Na PCwiki-ju nema tog riješenja za Blood 2 i KISS. Lithtech engine igre su teške za upogoniti. Blood, KISS i Shogo sam se namučio da upogonim. Uglavnom uspio sam naći onaj DLL file koji riješava većinu problema kod Lithtech igara. Mislim da su problemi koje sam ja imao vezani za Logitech miš i tipkovnicu. Blood 2 meni uz sve patcheve nije se pokretao. Uopće nije ulazio u igri. Stavio sam onaj dinput.dll s githuba i igra proradila. Sada radi ko urica na win10. Bez tog dinput.dll uopće se ne želi pokrenuti.
Tražili su me da stavim to riješenje na PCwiki, ali kad sam vidio da moram pisati unutar koda, te da nije ovako pristupačno kao forum sam odustao. Postao sam svoje riješenje na Steamu i moddb-u.
Na Steamu je jedan korisnik točno objasnio u čemu je stvar s dinput.dll. Imao je isti problem kao i ja s Blood 2. Nije stvar u Logitech periferiji. Njegovo detaljno objašnjenje na moj post:

Coincidentally i did the exact same thing yesterday.
Installed blood2, didnt run.
Debugged the assembly with IDA pro to encounter a memory exception in the DirectX6 dinput.dll.
After using above wrapper to wrap dinput6 on a more modern dinput8 api, my game ran flawles.
Just came here to post the solution, but it seems someone already found it 2 days earlier XD
Its just to note: its not about logitech at all. I for example only have SteelSeries devices. Its literaly a directInput crash due to a bug in memory access. This fixes the game for all people where the OS forbids writing in non-allocated memory, which applies for example to my windows 11 with enabled security settings.
OP: Might want to change title to "Solution for game not starting"
