A follow up to yesterday's Alienware AW3423DW review. If you're worried about the screen coating and ambient light reflection, here are some
examples vs an IPS LCD, both showing black.
1) Studio lighting providing lots of ambient light
(2) lamp and simulated window at right angles off to one side
(3) lighting behind the monitor
(4) dim overhead lighting from a lamp
(5) dim lamp in front of the screen
Does the coating matter?
- NO for people using it in the dark, in dim rooms, or with relatively dim lighting either directly above, behind or at right angles to the display
- YES for people in bright rooms, with light sources in front of the display, sunlit rooms with windows at various angles in front of the display.
Minimize ambient lighting and make sure no light sources are shining in the vicinity of the display (keep lights at a 90 degree angle or better from the front) and you'll be fine.
EDIT: mat vs glossy na istom monitoru ( Eve Spectrum 27" IPS 4K 144Hz )
