Ryzen 7 5800X3D: The first gaming benchmark is promising
Citiraj:
Unsurprisingly, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D does not come close to the Ryzen 7 5800X in Cinebench and numerous Blender tests and also lags behind somewhat in the other tests. The base clock, which has been reduced from 3.8 to 3.4 GHz, and the boost clock, which has also been reduced from 4.7 to 4.5 GHz, play a key role here. However, such render benchmarks do not use the additional L3 cache either, so that the advantages of this model practically fizzle out. Gaming is supposed to be the strength of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and accordingly gaming benchmarks can best represent the potential of the processor. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D would thus be about 21% faster than a Core i9-12900K and 15.5% faster than a Core i9-12900KS.
