BMW claims the Hydrogen 7 is the “world’s first production-ready hydrogen vehicle”; thus far, the Hydrogen 7 has been released to select high-profile leasees. Only 100 total vehicles were produced to put their technology to the test.[2] BMW said it chose public figures such as politicians, media figures, businessmen and big names in the entertainment industry such as 2007 Academy Award-winning director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and the chairman of Sixt AG, Erich Sixt, because “they would be ideal ambassadors” for hydrogen fuel and could help spread awareness of the need for such technologies.

Za mene je stvar na tržištu kad kupci slobodno biraju proizvođača, a ne kad proizvođač bira kome će "iznajmiti" auto
ne znam, valjda sam staromodan previše
A sad sam usput malo čitao dodatno i ispada da modus rada vodika na unutarnje izgaranje ima iskoristivnost potencijalne energije u vodiku samo 40%, što je uzimajući u obzir već ionako ogromnu neefikasnost samih načina dobivanja vodika razlog zašto ih nitko ni ozbiljno ne razvija, kad više od 50% goriva praktički bacaš. Gorive ćelije pri pretvorbi vodika u el. energiju mogu bez problema prebaciti to preko 60%
