OK, ali u se Intelu ponovila ista priča ko i u AMD-u prije nekoliko godina.
Citiraj:
Jim Keller was brought in to work with the K12 team and it was Mark and Lisa that decided to move K12 teams to work on Zen.
Shelving K12 was the reason he didn't renew his contract, and didn't stay long enough to see if Zen would actually fix AMD.
Citiraj:
K12 was to be AMD's first custom microarchitecture based on the ARMv8-A (AArch64) instruction setwith a planned release in 2017.
As of 2018 the product still hasn't been released, with development of ARM architectures continuing but no products planned.
Citiraj:
Intel confirmed that they have hired Jim Keller as a Senior Vice President. There, Keller will be heading up the 800lb gorilla’s silicon engineering group, with an emphasis on SoC development and integration.
Citiraj:
Intel’s Alder Lake is going to be a ARM-like big.LITTLE design.
Citiraj:
Jim Keller Resigns from Intel, Effective Immediately.
