wtf ???

Using the Comparison Tool at Rtings, both the Samsung Q70 and Sony 950G are great TVs. The Q70 scored better on Color Gamut and Color Volume over the 950G, and I have not noticed any shortcomings with colors on my Samsung Q70. Primary, secondary and tertiary colors all look how I expect. The Q70 scoring better at input lag and black levels are more important to me since those are easier to notice without needing a device to read numbers. I haven't gotten my hands on a 950G, but I did get to mess around with Sony's 900F and it had some noticeable blooming in black letterbox bars in movies. If the 950G is similar to the 900F, then that's a knock on it for me. The Q70 isn't perfect since it has blooming and brightness fluctuations in certain scenes; it does do a great job maintaining black levels of letterbox bars. Also, and possibly more importantly, the Q70 is priced cheaper. So for two TVs that are very close overall, price will sway most.
