Vjerojatno je do određenih buildova. Trenutno su mi i host i remote PC na 1809. Nema veze, našao sam rješenje i natjerao mstsc.exe da radi kako ja hoću.

I had the same issue, in the same specific case, and after many research, I finded that can you turn off checking Client Scale Factor, on 2012R2 server by this way :

1. Run regedit and follow this registry key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations
2. In WinStations registry key, create a DWORD (32-bit) value IgnoreClientDesktopScaleFactor
3. Set this value to 1
4. Reboot server

After this, during RDS connexion, you can set custom DPI, independently from local session.
