Impurities of Co and Ni
Seeing the compositions I would say that the two steels are very similar; the only real differences I see are the presence of Nb in the S35VN, and the levels of V, Mo and Cr that vary slightly in the two steels.
However, the two steels are used quite differently: while the SG2 can be found at 66 hrc, the only way to find the S35VN over 61 hrc is to enter in the world of custom.
