Da znam da Pioneer koristi drugu tehnologiju od npr. Plextora 712A (kojeg ja imam). Meni se osobno Plextorova tehnologija više sviđa jer ne ide na snižavanje brzine već ostaje na istoj ako ne može snimati na većoj brzini.
Isto tako kombinira PCAV i CLV ovisno o brzini snimanja (4, 6, 8, 12x). Pioneer koristi Z-CLV za snimanje na 16x i eto tu nastaju problemi. Ja osobno snimam max na 8x.
