Zivim u kanadi, i htc10 NEMA NIGDJE izlozeno.

The reason I went with s7 edge is simple: price.

It was a $150 deal from Telus, my carrier matched the price and my monthly bill was kept the same... i was off contract with them now I am on a 2-year contract.

If I get HTC 10, I have to pay $999 + tax to get it from HTC directly, or get it from Bell for $299 on a two year contract. And my monthly bill goes up to by $15 per month.

So overall I had to pay $660 more to get HTC 10. Even if HTC is better than s7e, it won't be that much.

Now that exposes HTC's problem to be more than its products. The reason it goes exclusive with Bell in Canada is, I hope, they have no choice (if they choose to do so then they are just incompetent). They don't have the same bargain power as Samsung anymore when they negotiates deal with carrier. They don't have the volume to reduce mfg cost of HTC 10 so they have enough profit margin to undercut competition. They don't have the marketing budget to push their product anymore.

So regardless how great their products are, when a consumer facing the same math I had to face when I was making my purchase decision, the odds will tilt significantly toward Samsung.
