That is why you have to make sure beforehand that the CPU you are getting is based on the new Thoroughbred. In fact, the exteriors of Palomino and Thoroughbred do differ quite a lot from each other: Palomino die is much bigger and is shaped as a square, while the Thoroughbred core is rectangular.
