Standard Battle mode was removed from battles between Tier VII-X ships because of the following reasons:

• In this mode, bases on most maps were located far from each other. Because of this, players were often unable to have enough impact on the outcome of the battle
• There were no intermediate "points of interest", where the most exciting action usually takes place
• Protecting the base was very important for the outcome of the battle. Because of this, players tended to use more passive tactics, which had a negative impact on the gameplay dynamics
