Keep in mind that all this was before the AotS controversy so if the recent allegations against Nvidia turn out to be true and its DX12 performance suffers; this could turn around just as easily.

Nvidia has kept up a very healthy launch schedule with new cards releasing left and right and the data reflects this as well. AMD recently released their Fury lineup but not enough time has passed for the market sentiment to reflect the lineup update so the third quarter report should be the one to really look out for. If the share doesn’t improve – or atleast hold constant, AMD could be in serious trouble.
