If you tried the mSATA on two different hardware configurations and it was not picked up, there is a possibility that the drive is faulty or damaged. If you can, try it on one more configuration (intel based computer).
I would recommend that you get in touch with the retailer and ask for a replacement. There is a 3 year manufacturer warranty on all Kingfast SSD products.
