i think your pc is ok for lost alpha. you might not want to play in fdl mode with maxxed graphics settings though, but in static lightning mode, it will fly on max settings as hot knife in butter however la will needs more ram. i think minimum 2gb sys memory is needed (which you have, so no need to worry), because everything is bigger and better now.

for static lightning mode this pc will be good with 1680x1050 res, and all settings on full, except for "aa" and "af":

cpu: minimum 2ghz (intel or amd) (2.5ghz recommended)
ram: 2gb 400mhz ddr1
vga: ati 9800 or nvidia 7600
hdd: 10gb free space req! + 4gb swapfile

for full dynamic lightning mode:

cpu: c2d and around 3ghz
ram: 3gb or more
vga: ati hd4000 series or nvidia 8800 or higher
hdd: 10gb free space req! + 4gb swapfile or more

these are not the minimum req-s, they are for high settings, so if anyone lowers the graphics quality settings, slower pc will handle sl or even fdl mode.

my pc specs to compare:

cpu: c2d e8400 (2x3ghz)
ram: 4gb 1066mhz rams in dual mode
vga: ati hd5770
+ 6gb swapfile in win7

and i can play la in 1920x1080 res on fdl mode with max settings (everything truely maxed + sky4ce 2.0 rc4.1) pretty smoothly (avg 60fps)

in static lightning mode with the same resolution and maxed settings i have avg 100fps, sometimes even more.
