Ajmo te ozljede kičme riješiti napokon. Polagao sam za spasioca u američkom crvenom križu i naglasak je bio baš na tim ozljedama jer su najčešće, pa znam što pričam.

141. stranica - Avoid twisting or bending anyone who has a possible head, neck or spinal injury.
142. stranica - Clothes drag. The clothes drag can be used to move a conscious or
unconscious person suspected of having a head, neck or spinal injury.
142. stranica - Summon EMS Personnel
If you are unsure of the victim’s condition or notice that the condition is worsening,
summon EMS personnel. As a general rule, summon EMS personnel for any of the
following conditions:
...
Suspected or obvious injuries to the head, neck or spine
142. stranica - Opening the Airway
When a victim is unconscious, the tongue relaxes
and can block the flow of air through the airway,
especially if the victim is lying on his or her back.
To check for breathing and give ventilations, you
must manually tilt the head or thrust the jaw to
move the tongue away from the back of the throat.
The method used to open the airway depends on
the number of rescuers responding, the position
of the rescuer to the victim, and whether you
suspect the victim has an injury to the head, neck or spine. The three methods for
opening the airway are the:
1. Head-tilt/chin-lift: used when the rescuer is positioned at the victim’s side
2. Jaw-thrust maneuver (with head extension): used when the rescuer is
positioned above the victim’s head
3. Jaw-thrust maneuver (without head extension): used when the victim is
suspected of having an injury to the head, neck or spine
