Conclusion
The PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III 500W looks to be a great little power supply for those not looking for a beast. We find that it was ideal for some of the small rigs people are quickly getting into. In our case, we sled it into an all-white BitFenix Prodigy ITX case and it looked and performed perfectly. The unit has ample power to push the higher-end graphic cards as well as a good overclock on that GPU as well as the CPU.
There may be some talk about the unit not being 100% modular but I have always said what's the point when the permanent cables will have to be used regardless. The only advantage I see to all the cables being detachable is to make individual sleeving easier.
We found the PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III 500W selling for as low as $70 before any rebates which we found $20 worth of rebates to lower this to $50. It is hard to find a Bronze of high quality at such a low cost.
