meni je radilo sa isključivanjem notifikacija u options - advanced
provjeri si ovaj topic pa probaj predloženo:

ak si već isključio notifikacije vrlo vjerojatno trebaš:

You will need to delete the auto-updater's temporary installation folder, where the installer has been downloaded, to cancel it. The folder in question should be found at C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\Local Settings\Temp\CProgram FilesOpera\ in XP and at C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Temp\CProgram FilesOpera\ in 7. Just delete it.
